This is a thick and hence well cushioned floor mat. At 190cm long , it's a good size. The underside is contoured and so grips the floor, and the top surface is smooth but in no way slippery. There is considerable 'give' in the mat, hence the cushioning effect, which also prevents slippage and holds the feet. I can't see why anyone would consider it slippery, but one should speak as they find. The only potential downside is that because of it's thickness it is a little bulky when rolled up.
