WAY OVER PRICED, but the look is good.

This is a fairly good capture our favorite curmudgeons. I don't care for the price gouging--this ornament was particularly offensive in it's pricing--that has come with 'collectibles' but of course, it's a choice. Let it suffice to say that Hallmark is making a ridiculous killing off this particular piece. If there was another, less expensive way to have Waldorf and Statler, I surely wouldn't have kept this. Oh--also--the recording of the quips is not very good.

Nostalgic for The Muppet Show

Anyone who grew up watching "The Muppet Show" remembers Statler and Waldorf - if not by name then by "those two old guys in the balcony". The soundbyte was good quality and brought back memories of the show. I was a little disappointed that my favorite line (the exchange at the and of the "Mah-nah Mah-nah" song) was not included in the soundbyte.

Not bad for a $15 investment

Did not buy from amazon but an ex of mine bought this for me back in 2008. It still works with it's original batteries! Not bad for a $15 investment!
