Good while it lasts...
I really saw a difference with the product, but four months later it stopped working.

Good Product
I wired it to my router and put it on the other side of my house. Its like I have two routers now. Works great. I had to reset it about three times in the past year, but it was as simple as unpluging it and pluging it back in. My entire 3500 sqft house is covered.

Works well but runs very hot; has poor documentation
Our old house was fully wired with Ethernet cables (a pair in every room) and was two story so the WiFi signal didn't have far to go but this house where we recently moved is single floor and quite long so a repeater was necessary. I bought a pair of these with one replacing my slow Asus WiFi router which I used in AP mode only as i already have a Cisco firewall router connected to the modem. With one replacing the Asus that is near one end of the house in my office and the other in the living room near the other end as a repeater while also providing an RJ45 connection for the media system as some components do not have WiFi, we now have a good non-pixelated picture when watching Netflix. These devices seem to run quite hot which was rather unexpected for such a small device so be sure to mount vertically to allow the hot air to rise through the vents. That said, once set up they seem to work well but even with hard-coded IP addresses I sometimes have trouble logging into the user interface. No errors but it sometimes remains on the logon page.Since my old WiFi was so poor after moving here even when right next to it I'm not sure what to expect in this new neighborhood and, while it's not giving in speed when I know I should get, I suspect much of that it is do with with the ISP. It is many times faster than before, js they say, "the jury is still out" on where the bottleneck is.The manual and user interface (UI) were obviously not written by someone who actually speaks English (childish slang "pls" rather than "please"; double comparative "more clearer" rather than "more clear" or "clearer" as a couple of many), and manual only outlines the settings with few details. On the good side, the UI is decent and easy to navigate once you've decided whether you want the AP, Repeater or Router mode which is controlled by a physical switch on the side of the case and the UI appears to be different for each although I've not delved into that too much to be sure. I know the distinction between these settings but the average user may not and the manual does not make it very clear. Other than repeating what the labels on the case say, nothing was said about the two RJ45 jacks and how to use them so for the non-technical person, it would be a mystery. One says LAN and the other LAN/WAN so it even gave me pause as to which to use in the two places! Finally, no support seems available anywhere unless you want to Chat which I do not. No support means no firmware updates so if there are any I have not been able to find them.

Just doesn't work very well
Setup was okay, but the device is flaky -- sometimes it will connect my devices and other times it won't -- or will connect and say "no internet".

Useless set up instructions=doesn't work
Bought this to replace an older extender. Set up instructions are useless--not written by an english speaker and don't work when you do understand them. It repeats well enough, but if it loses connection during a power outage you'll be stuck fighting with it again. Set up instructions not available on-line either, so don't lose the printed gibberish.
