Does the job!
Needed a clamp to attach the 13" mic gooseneck to a presentation stand. Easy to tighten and remove and doesn't leave a mark. Perfect addition for times when a mic is needed in this particular room.

Works great, quality item
I bought this clamp to mic an acoustic guitar. I use it with a 13" goose neck. It is easy to install and remove, and the position is stable. The alternative to this clamp are really expensive, and I think this clamp does a great job. I trust it with my Shure SM81. If I were using a $2000 mic, I might buy better hardware, but I think this great for a local gigging musician or a project studio.

What a great idea!
This is a nice little item. I am going to order a few more. I was going to use it to clamp my tablet holder to my mic stand (which would have worked just fine) but instead I decided to use it to mount a laser lighting effects unit to a PA speaker stand. The mic stand is 5/8" diameter and the speaker stand upright is (I believe) inch and half. It works on both of them equally well.I give it 4 stars because the bolt that tightens down to hold the threaded adapter has a plastic knob on it that will rotate when you bottom it rather than just stop turning. So you can only torque it down a little. That will be fixed by a quick trip to the hardware store. It's just a regular sized bolt and I am sure I can get one that has a knob on the end for hand tightening. If the knob/bolt combo was better, I'd give it 5 stars.

Sturdy and well made
I order this Clamp Microphone Mount to try it out. Was looking for one that was better build then the one I had order before cause it broke. I have waited sometime before making a review on this one to see how it hold up. I'm glad to say that I am very pleased with this one very study use it constantly and looks like it will suit my need.

Problem solver that does the job
It gets the job done, and has a flexible, useful design. I use it to add an OnStage Posilock telescoping boom to another mic stand, so I can position two mics on a guitar amp speaker without adding another stand. The Multi Clamp grips surprisingly well, and the multiple position threaded mount is terrific, permitting all sorts of orientations and placements. I am not impressed, however, with the handle that you use to tighten the clamp into place. It is just a bar of metal, and it can be uncomfortable to really tighten. Work gloves are not really necessary, but completely solve this issue. Still, at this price this is a real problem solver

Elegant simplicity
I usually play acoustics (a Dobro or an Ovation)and often like to mike the instrument in lieu of jacking it to the amp directly. This usually meant I had to use two tripod boom microphone stands. Now in stead of all that angular hardware between me and my audience, I have switched to a single round based stand topped with a Shure Super 55 for that classic look. Half-way down the upright, I have the Multi Clamp Mic Mount holding a Shure PG81 aimed at my dobro cone. It's the best of both worlds. I can sing, or play the harp through the Super 55 and still get the clean acoustic sound of my guitar with half the hardware.Elegant in its simplicity, this was the simplification I was looking for.I got a second one to mic my hi-hat when I do my one-man band thing. This is a nice versatile little clamp.

Works with boom scissor arms!
Works perfect for scissor boom arms! I clamped it to the pole for the duel monitor mount I bought around the same time and it works great! My boom scissor style arm fits in the multi-clamp’s hole (barely) and I can now have my mic over my head but also out of the way of my arms! Love it!Cheaper then a riser for booms as well!

Make the jump to wireless with this and make gig setup easier and the stage tidier !
Having researched this is a great detail before buying I was not expecting to be disappointed and I wasn't.We already have several wired Shure SM58's in our Band so they were the benchmark. Dead easy to setup, no interference and even keeps receiving when walking in to different rooms (did a walk test). The mic is perhaps not as pretty as the Shure but feels good to hold. The lower half unscrews to reveal the battery housing in which you'll need 2 AA's. Also in there is the pair button and a sort of gain/volume dial. On the outside and at the bottom is the on/off and mute button. If you switch it off to save battery for eg the intermission then when switching it back on again it has kept the channel link to the receiver. After a bit of setting up (shouldn't need to fiddle again) there's no feedback or distortion to mention. Not used it in earnest yet on stage so can't comment on battery life or interference with other Audio Technica's but in a studio I'm really pleased.

It works!
Was under the impression it came with the microphone holder in thr picture. Thought something was pointing at it. All the same, it doesnt so make sure you have one.Aside from that the material quality feels high. Its got some weight to it and feels solid. Does its job!

No mic holder picture is deceiving
No mic holder included picture is misleading
