I have been looking for a ceramic pan that I could place under the broiler for at least a brief time to crisp up the top of casseroles and lasagna. I still am not sure if these will do that, but I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I have used these baking dishes. I was sure the middle-size one was a waste, but it was perfect for my usual (approx.) 2 lb. meat loaf and baked it to perfection. The handles are really nice to have after so many Pyrex type glass pans, although others have mentioned some breakage. They have cleaned up beautifully with a bit of soaking and a scratch-free scrubby. If they can withstand the broiler, I will have hit the jackpot!

Great dishes. Perfect for baking a small amount of food. I had a new recipe for Green Bean Casserole that actually recommended these dishes, so I purchased them, and I am so glad I did. They work for many different recipes and they clean up beautifully, and easily. Great product for the money!!

Buyers beware before buying this set. I loved this 3pc. set when I first bought it. The medium size dish cracked while in use. Cooking chicken at 350'. And the large dish cracked in half, once again, while cooking meat at 350' two days ago. Staub is an excellent brand and very expensive. I am really upset because this should not have happened while baking at 350'. Expensive and now I can't return it. So, buyers beware!!

I recently upgraded to the this beautiful set in Macaron Pastel Blue after using only glass and metal pans. The color is a stunning...this was my first investment in the brand, and it has certainly lived up to the reputation! I noticed several reviews mentioning dishes cracking, but that hasn't been my experience at all. Ceramic requires more mindfulness than metal. To protect them, I always let the oven fully preheat first to avoid intense direct heat. I also never use these under the broiler. My "pro-tip" for safety and heat buffering is placing the ceramic dish on a metal baking sheet; it makes it much easier to grab with mitts, provides an extra heat buffer, and catches any bubble-over spills for easier cleanup. Once out of the oven, I never place the hot dish directly on the counter or chuck it into the fridge. I always set it on a thick pot holder or silicone trivet to let it cool down. Following these steps has kept my set in perfect condition without any chips/cracks/peeling/etc. The shiny gloss is also exceptional. I’ve made everything from the viral TikTok feta pasta to cheesy lasagnas. Even the burnt-on cheese at the edges slides right off with a bit of warm soapy water and a soft sponge. As a large family that bulk-cooks, the largest dish is our go-to for main courses. However, I’ve found the smallest dish perfect for mise en place and prepping veggies. The set also nests perfectly within itself, making it a dream for organized cabinet storage.

Washes easily Great for oven or grilling

This three piece set by STAUB is so beautiful and is wonderful to use. I’ve baked a bread, herb and sausage stuffing for our Canadian Thanksgiving this month in the largest dish, and have also roasted two pieces of salmon in the middle size and baked a four smallish stuffed zucchini halves in the smallest one. All three are great for serving as well. Afterward, a quick soak in soapy water and they’ve all cleaned up easily. I love them!
