I’m an avid outdoor and nature photographer. It’s a rare occasion I don’t stop every five minutes or so to take a photo of something interesting that I see or want to work into a later project. My most recent endeavor is indoor still life and living in a college town, aesthetically pleasing and visually clear spaces can be a challenge to come by. I was hoping to come by background paper for photography work and was quite ecstatic when I found these online. As a three pack, this item bundle is a deal. Each print is four feet across by twelve feet long and the images are incredibly vibrant and realistic. Any of these would be perfect for headshots or photo booths, weddings, or as photography backdrops for close up shots of promotional materials, merch, or other small to moderate scale lightroom or lightbox work.One of the things I love is just how natural and organic the backdrops feel. Another thing that I really appreciate about these backdrops is that they come wrapped around a tube, like wrapping paper. I've seen and used other backdrops that don't come on a cardboard tube and they end up being crushed by the time they arrived or were taken out of storage. Working with these backdrops, a great feature is they aren’t actually attached to the tube; it just serves as a rigid means to ensure quality and extended use of the photo paper. I figure the reason is so that could use all 12 feet of the paper at once if you wanted, but I have just been using a few feet at a time for smaller, close-up projects. I found it very beneficial to unroll the paper, secure one end with regular tape like painter tape to the tube and then roll it back up for storage or transport. It just made my life a little bit easier and lets me roll the paper back up tighter without it slipping around. For longer-term use, I might buy some PVC pipe from the hardware store to stash the tubes in while not being in use to keep them protected from wear.I will definitely be a return customer and cannot wait for other photography backdrop sets from Designs By Devin. I look forward to using these through both my professional line of work and casual photography.

I haven't used the medium brown color yet. The white worked out ok. It is a nice pattern and looks realistic. The dark brown is a nice pattern, although a little too orange for me. The big problem was that it was too shiny. It is not a matte paper. I struggled moving it all over to get away from the window or the lights shining on it. Even natural light from the glass door was way too much. I struggled with posing my subjects in a way I could get a flattering shot without getting glare from the paper too. Very frustrating! I will be reserving it for shoots that don't require too much lighting or only using as a background that I can light from above. The rolls are also too small (the tube it is rolled on) to slide onto my stand.

This background paper for photography that I ordered from Designs By Devin was just received and is as described by seller. The photo quality is excellent and will allow for some creative photography. The pictures are very realistic and natural looking. There is a plenty of paper to use both in my photography and mixed media projects. The photography background paper is a good weight for setting up a scene, not too heavy or too light. If damaged in the shoot, it is relatively inexpensive to replace. The value for price is exceptional.The photography background paper was packed very nicely. All three rolls of paper were wrapped together in one long box. Since the paper is rolled, there are no wrinkles or creases to deal with.

I bought these for a photo shoot with my little 2 month old boy, and the shots turned out great! There are a couple of pictures where you can see the wrinkles from weight being pressed onto paper, but what else should you expect in that situation?! Other than that it's hard to tell that the wood is just paper, especially when it's used more as a backdrop than a floor piece. After posting the pictures, I actually had a relative ask to borrow the backdrop for a photo shoot they were doing, and were surprised to find out that it was just a roll of paper. They thought I had an actual stack of wooden slats or something!

The backgrounds are nice, but the only one that resembles the picture is the white wood. The darker cherry looks nothing like the item received, and the weathered wood was just as sad. I would have returned this item if it wasn't for the white wood which is what I initiall wanted in the first place. That being said if your wanting all 3 colors I suggest looking elsewhere. If your wanting just the white you can find it cheaper as well.As for the quality of the backgrounds themselves there is a lot left to be desired. They are very thin paper that tears very easily the colors are weak and the design on the other 2 looks like fake crap wood.

Definitely not the color as shown. The dark brown on the left is not brown, it is RED. I wish I would have seen the review of the person who posted their photos because it shows it as the color it is. For what I need it for, it will work fine. But I wish I would have known they are more red and brown. Same with the multi color one on the right. However, I really love the white one. They are thin, but I will be attaching them to wood panels as a floor drop for my signs so they will work fine. Just a tad disappointed.

This product would be great for product photography, newborns, or serve well as a backdrop. This is not a great product for kids or toddlers on the move. it is heavy duty paper, but they WILL rip and wrinkle it very easily. Taping the product down will help, but you will need to tape it down well and on all sides which ruins the paper and can't be reused. The plus is that after rolling it back up the wrinkles remove very easily. I reused it again after my crazy 9 month session.
