Boaters, DIYers, this is the new HOLY GRAIL
For a boater and DIYer, this stuff is a hidden gem.I was looking for a better alternative than the overpriced marine-tex and the other lousy and wasteful epoxy available in the marine world, not even because of the price, but because of: the crazy toxicity of the marine products, the ridiculously short working time, the hard to smooth and impossible to shape & texture, the need to sand forever after it dries because you couldn't get it perfect to shape, the waste of large amounts of the product on the mixing surface/mixing stick, and even more while sanding the excess. I even used some of this to stop cracking in my wood deck furniture. It's holding extremely strong. I sanded the areas and worked this epoxy compound in smoothed and painted over it. You can't tell it's there but it is working its amazing wonders.THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME. Here is a list of just some of the benefits I've found:1: it is EPOXY. This means super strong, waterproof, UV-resistant, can be used inside, outside, underwater, under the water line, on wood, on fiberglass, on metal, on whatever you want. Epoxy rules!2: it is CRAZY EASY to mix and work with, like Play-doh.3: it is VERY EASY to smooth/shape/blend! just put water or a tiny bit of vegetable oil (gloves make it easier) on your finger and it becomes a magic wand. You can blend pieces together, smooth them out, just by passing a finger on top. Love it!4: there is a GREAT working time of over 3 hours. So there is NO RUSH, more than enough time to correct mistakes.5: almost no waste, as every little piece can be collected and reused (within the working time). This makes this product infinitely cheaper than any other epoxy mix, where so much waste happens in the mixing and applying of the product.6: NO EXPENSIVE MESS. It is easy to clean and apply, I can't stress just how easy it is.7: SAVES A TON OF TIME. The ability to smooth it, reuse, cut it, modify, work on and all without rushing, makes it possible to create a finished product in one step and one session with no need for sanding, no need for cleaning (both can be very time consuming with regular epoxy & fiberglass).8: No crazy fumes when mixing, and cleaning your hands after is a breeze. As a disclaimer, I'd say that I don't know for a fact that it is not toxic, but it doesn't feel or smell toxic in any way. If you've been working with marine-tex, you'll know what I mean.9: Dries/cures by itself, which is normal for epoxy but I guess that if you're an artist, you care about that (as opposed to clay).10: Takes ABUSE: It's epoxy and will take enormous amounts of abuse so you can put it on your boat or your toys and not worry about it.This stuff is my new go-to for so many things. Seriously! One thing, though: This is a dark grey but for my needs, it works great and you can paint it with whatever you want and you'll never know what's under there. Whatever you need to do to color match (which is always necessary).BOATERS, DIYers, Homeowners, BUY THIS STUFF! As for artists, I don't know how it compares to other products but my guess is that it will be pretty hard to beat this champ, I can only imagine just how awesome it can be with how easy you can match surface textures and make things look like they came from the factory that way, could be really cool for making custom game pieces and for the cosplay costume making stuff as well. Would be really durable for that stuff.

Good product.
This was my first time using epoxy clay. It is a high odor product even after it drys. Use in well ventilated space. It’s also messy so gloves of some kind is highly recommended. Using water to keep your gloved fingers wet will help manage clay while working with it. The product worked exceptionally well on my sculpture and I was very pleased with the results.

Bad product
Bad product, 50/50 mixture results in oily non workable chalky clay. Cure time is long and does not harden. Very messy and oily gloves are needed. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra cash and buy aves epoxy sculpt a far superior product.

Good deal, prepare for fumes.
Pheew! This clay is highly malodorous and I recommend working with it under a fume hood, or at least in a situation where you have an exhaust fan. Working with it definitely takes some practice. Library kitty had an accident and lost her ears, so I reconstructed some for her with this as best I could. It works and the color is a near match. I may try a buff glaze to see if I can get it closer to her original. Mixing this epoxy was easy, and I didn't weigh measure, but rolled grape sized amounts that matched in size. I had to go bare hand to do some of the work and my skin hasn't rotted off yet but God knows what I absorbed. I also gave my hands a preliminary mineral oil coating and toweled off the excess which helped the clay to not stick or leave a severe stench after a good soap and water washing. For mixing, I wore vinyl gloves. This clay is a good deal and will do the job, just guard your respiratory system and practice before you go for your final project.

Great product
Order a tub of this stuff to use on some bone projects and it worked awesome. Very easy to work with and hardens perfectly.

Sticky and hard to work with.
I found it too thick to work with easily. I’ve never used it before so maybe that was part of it. It was a little to messy and stuck to my fingers and gloves when I tried to shape it.

Terrible stuff
So hard it is almost impossible to mix. I threw it away.

Versatile and easy to work with!
I have used many many epoxy clays over the past 40+ years or remaking Breyer plastic model horses. This is one of the best there is, IMHO. It was easy to mix, easy on my hands, being a bit softer (uncured) than some of the available epoxies. Super easy to sculpt, with fingers and with tools. Easy to smooth with water or alcohol or smoothing solution. A more than generous working time lets me get all the details right before it cures. Sands well, too. Some reviews here have mentioned an odor... I didn’t notice any myself. I used nitrile gloves to save my manicure, but I do that anyway, with most mediums.
