I didn't rate the softness very high because it's soft but firm. I believe too much softness equates with mushiness, and this pillow is NOT mushy. I'm still breaking it in but the past several nights have been the most restful nights sleep I've had in a LONG time. I'm a side sleeper and the last pillow I purchased was a Sleep Number Varicool Standard pillow which not only was WAAAAY overpriced but didn't have NEARLY the support this pillow does. I sleep with a full mask CPAP and needed a pillow that didn't allow my head to sink all the way down to the mattress! That kinda fit the bill at first but after two years it really flattened out and turned mushy. Well, like most memory foam pillows, they only have a lifespan of a couple of years, however, at $30 bucks for the PharMeDoc, it's more reasonable to replace it that often. The Sleep Number version cost well over $150 at the time (not sure the price now) but sheez! I could've bought 4 PharMeDocs for the price of ONE of these! FOUR!!!!! And it's got more height and firmness right off the bat than the Sleep number pillow did, so I have a good feeling about this one!Before deciding to try this one, I read an article on SFGate that Consumer Reports studies show that higher priced memory-foam pillows may be highly overrated, and to try a more inexpensive one. Well I'm glad I did because they were right! I cannot be more happy with this. I thought, man, some of these companies sure are charging an arm and a leg for just a wad of freaking FOAM. How much can this material cost to manufacture anyway???Remember, memory-foam pillows tend to run hotter than regular non-foam pillows so if you don't choose this one, at least make sure you get the cooling gel infused type (like this one). And for goodness sakes, USE A NORMAL COTTON PILLOW CASE!

Tried many other pillows, this one actually makes the neck and shoulders rest during the night, if you sleep on your side. When sleeping on the back, it’s not so good. But I’m a side sleeper so it works like a charm for me! Highly recommended, it’s a little less soft, but it actually do good for the computer geeks suiting 8-10 hours near the screen.

I got this pillow back in March, and let me be honest with you, the comfort is there, the support is there, it is a nice pillow by all the metrics, but its not really cooling. The pillow, when you lay on it, is initially fresher and cooler than other pillows, but overtime as I lie on it after 10 minutes it will get warm. Other pillows will warm up pretty fast, so its nice that this pillow takes longer to reach the same point, nonetheless it does eventually get almost as warm as other pillows.I bought this pillow for 2 reasons. The first was because my previous pillow had flattened into a mushy neck warping pain behemoth within 1 month of owning it and 2 years in it was destroying by neck. This pillow after roughly 2 months of use is still incredibly comfortable and plus and that is a great strenght.Reason number 2 for which I bought the pillow which was the cooling aspect was kind of a letdown. I do enjoy the fact that it takes longer to warm up and doesn't get as warm as the standard pillow, but nevertheless it does not stay cool, even with the simplest pillow cover, it will inevitably warm up. It is however a much needed upgrade so I still think for the money it's worth it since I got it on a sale when it was half off.

If you deal with neck pain, this pillow is for you! Before this pillow I used to be at the chiropractor constantly because using just one pillow was too thin, but using two pillows would often overstretch me because they would shift while I slept. This is the perfect height between the two, and it is both firm enough to hold its shape, but just enough squish to let you be really comfortable and supported. I've had it for several months now and it's still held it's shape and thickness beautifully. Haven't been to the chiropractor in months and couldn't be happier!

So I've tried multiple pillows since I run hot all night lately. This pillow is so comfortable, great for me, a side and back sleeper. It does not cool me off, but that could be my fault. I have the case the pillow came in, plus my own pillow case over it. That will cause it to hold heat. I have much more expensive pillows that are crap next to this one. I am very happy with this purchase, even bought my hubby one.

For years, I have been looking for a pillow that provides both support and comfort. THIS IS THE PILLOW I’ve been waiting for! I discovered PharMeDoc pillows while staying at an AirBNB in Atlanta. I got the best night sleep ever! As soon as I got home I went on a mission to find that pillow. Unfortunately the model I tried in Atlanta was discontinued but this pillow had great reviews and was reasonably priced so I figured I’d give it a try! OMG it’s terrific! I’d easily pay twice the price for that much comfort and support! Ps. I gave it only 3 stars on softness because it’s the thickness and moderate firmness that makes this pillow so great. I find soft pillows too thin and flimsy. This pillow supports your head and neck perfectly. If you are looking for a full bodied pillow, this is the one for you!

J'ai habituellement beaucoup de mal à m'endormir, mais je me suis habitué à cet oreiller dès la première nuit et depuis la qualité de mon sommeil s'est beaucoup amélioré. Initialement, je souhaitais une vraie couche de gel rafraichissant par ces fortes chaleurs, mais je me suis laissé influencer par les commentaires très positifs. Finalement, je suis un peu sceptique quant à l'effet rafraichissant.

Shipping was fast. The pillow is very comfortable and keeps a firm yet soft shape. It has a good weight to it. Doesn't get too hot. Much better price than other pillows on the market.
