Heavy duty hose, much more industrial then what I could find at the local pool supply and big box stores.This hose can get heavy when filled with water, due to the thickmaterial used to make the hose.This hose is durable and ideal for emptying water coming from my swimming pool. 1.5 hp pumpI don't expect to have to purchase another hose for a very long time.

This is a very heavy hose. Durable and does the job.I would recommend this product!

This is a HEAVY hose for backwashing a pool. Meaning it is well made but also HEAVY to lug around. The cheaper vinyl ones are light and easier to roll and maneuver. This 100' hose is a beast. If I didn't need it that long it would be perfect.

Have not installed the hose yet, but it looks and feels heavy duty and is made in USA. If there are any issues I will update the post.

I am leaving one star because the size of the hose is not accurate. It's supposed to be 2 inches and as you can see by the picture it's actually about 3 1/2 inches. After speaking with a person at Amazon who said they probably pulled the wrong size, he suggested I re-order it. Bad idea. I received the same exact hose. I wish it was the right size because the quality is great - nice and sturdy but I cannot imagine how they are calling this a 2 inch hose. Very annoying.

PVC is very flexible when warm. This hose will stretch over the OD of a 1 1/2" coupling or fitting with a little finesse. Submerse the end of the hose in warm water, it does not have to be boiling. After the hose is warm, I used 2 pieces of wood and inserted them into the opening, then leveraged them against each other to stretch the end of the hose.

Held up much better than the cheap stuff on the market. Well constructed, heavy and durable.
