Better to buy local if you can find it
The black casing is marred (hard to get a good picture of, it looks like a reject) and glitter is stuck to the front and sides (but not the back). Working at it I haven't had much luck unsticking it. I was given one as a gift from an in town gift shop and wanted another but the shop was all out. I called around to other shops but couldn't find any. This one is outclassed by my other one, definitely can't put them where they can be compared. Not sure if I'm going to keep it at the more I look at it the more unhappy I am, and the case looks really bad when not a dimmed setting from head on. Even my toddler asked what was wrong with it when I let her look while pointing at the stuck glitter. The stuck glitter is very obvious when on, looks like dark spots and takes away from the gorgeous glitter snow. Plus a thick patch nearly obscures the last dog from most angles.Edit: The glitter by the motor has become better with running/gentle agitation after a couple days but the rest is not budging. Still disappointed in the case, sharpie helped some but there's still a noticable difference in case quality if they are near each other in any light other than dim do the display I had planned will not work.Edit again:The light is not working. Worked less than two weeks.

The perfect gift for Christmas
Gave 4 lanterns as Christmas gifts, not all same design. Everyone loved them. Beware, there is one that is a night light, no USB or timer. They are just delightful!. Have them open before Christmas so they can enjoy all holiday.

LOVE, Love, love it! This snow globe is amazing, no shaking required, just look and enjoy 😃 I've never seen anything like them before, the carriage design & the snow falling continuously. Very classy...unique Christmas decoration!

Quit working at 1 year
I loved this little globe. The timer function was wonderful. It made me happy! But it has been 1 year exactly and it quit working today :(
