– LD-01 Solar Powered LED Entryway outdoor light

I purchased this item from HSN last year. My daughter fell in love right away but could not find it any longer. I have been searching for a year and very happy to have found it. Lights up my patio beautifully and stays on sometimes until 5:00 AM. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend.

I have six of these... And 3 times now all 6 have failed.... But only after turning them off for several days. Yes... They did honor the 2 yr. warranty. They send you complete lights, when it is only the dusk to Dawn sensor that fails? Chinese mentality I guess?Moral of the story from a man who knows waaay more than he should about these lights...NEVER, EVER TURN THEM OFF!!! JUST LEAVE THEM GO ON EACH NIGHT. BATTERIES ARE CHEAP AND THEY ARE REPLACEABLE!!! They will work perfectly for months if not years, going on every single night, if you simply -leave them on-!!! I cannot impress you more with that fact. Maybe the high humidity in Florida? But it most certainly is a defect they are reluctant to fix?These lights "supposedly" will last 2 years on the battery life running full time I.e., on dusk, off Dawn. I have had one totally apart, and hear this: THE BATTERY IS EASY TO CHANGE... And available for just a few dollars!!! So let them run...NEVER FLIP THE SWITCH TO OFF.Without this sensor issue, they are really nice solar lights, very bright, sturdy, and well built. The mounting plates however are only plain steel, not Stainless Steel. (Odd little things like this with the Chinese? But just the Japanese got their act together, so will the Chinese, you watch. Remember the Lime Green and Orange Datsuns??? Ask me how I know!!! )The best you can do with these mounting plates, especially if going on the ground is to paint them up with several coats of paint, zinc coating the best, but normally only available at marine supply store and expensive. Gently rough up the surface with fine sandpaper before painting these mounting plates. I paint all my mounting plates when new for extra protection. If mounting to deck as in my app, I carefully and heavily caulked with 100% silicone caulking around the bases -after- the lights are installed on the bases. Helps to keep moisture out and extend the base life. Re-caulk every couple years as the caulking does fail over time when exposed to the sun and weather, especially on pressure treated wood.Replace Battery:1. Remove top unit from light, complete with switch, 8 screws. Remove collar on on/off switch.2. Remove 3 recessed nuts down in white plastic unit with nut driver.3. Do not remove Philips screws holding down LED PLATE. Yes... All that light from only those 4 LEDs!!! Amazing!!!4. Gently PRY UP WHITE PLASTIC HOUSING with long straight tip screwdriver. It is tight, keep moving around edge and evenly keep GENTLY prying!5. Flip plastic housing over, being careful of wiring to solar panel, laying on rag to protect LEDs! On bottom the round unit is BATTERY, unplug connector and 2 mounting screws on bracket.6. Google battery info stamped on battery. Buy batteries for all your units if more than one. Also on Reflections website is a PDF with more info on battery and the unit in general.7. Reassemble don't over tighten anything! Screws are only into plastic.Enjoy... ()-: A nice product still with a bug but showing the promise of solar! (Got a power outage? Take a light off the base with 2 nuts in 2 minutes and TAKE IT INSIDE WITH YOU, THE WHOLE LIGHT!!! Then take outside the next day to charge again. (But don't let it fall over and crack the glass solar panel). Amazing light indoors, awkward but you can carry around like gigantic flashlight!!! They do go off or don't come on periodically, and ind of mysteriously, but when it does...WOW!. I'll def buy more.

I bought two of these and they work very good. Easy to install and looks great. I highly recommend it.

Light up all night and work great. I would highly recommend.
