These clips are exactly as they appear in the listing. They are made of metal and have a sturdy spring hinge in them. I use them as chip clips to keep other opened food items closed. They have a strong magnet on the back making them perfect to just stick to your refrigerator when not in use and they are painted with an enamel-type coating so they should last a while. These are really cute and durable. However, the magnet is not very strong so it will not hold much more than paper or photographs.

I use these to hold extra copies of assignments on the whiteboard in my classroom. They can hold a LOT of papers without sliding down the board which is helpful. And they’re cute so I can color code based on the grade I see.
