We purchased this because out Danforth anchor was slipping all the time. (We have a 24' bow rider). It was such a pain to have to pull up the anchor and try to re-set it every single time. It's a muddy bottom where we boat. We used this new anchor last Saturday when we were watching fireworks on the river, with lots of boats very close by. It worked like a charm. So happy with this!

It's nice but a little larger than the previous one and the loop hole at the top is smaller unable to get a medal hook thru

This is the second time I have purchased the 30lb SeaSense River Anchor. Sometimes the boulders down deep, don't want to give it back. That is just the reality of using an anchor. The anchor is exactly as described and well built. The vinyl does get worn quickly on the bottom however, no more than expected with the abuse anchors take.I use this for our 22 foot pontoon boat at a local lake. I find it is the best anchor for grabbing the mostly muddy bottom while holding a large pontoon. In very heavy winds and waves, we use two anchors to hold. All other times, this anchor and weight secure us well.

I got this not expecting it to work well. It exceeded my expectations. I have been boating for most of 40 years. This is a keeper.

Coating on corners of anchor were all scraped up revealing the metal beneath. Shouldn’t effect the performance but seems like straight out of the box it should be in perfect condition
