Coding for Minecrafters: Unofficial Adventures for Kids Learning Computer Code Paperback – 28 May 2019

I really love the idea of this book. During the coronavirus lockdown I've started this with my 8 year old soon. Unfortunately it's just hard to read and follow. Code that you are meant to copy is often too small to read, leading to typing errors. Instructions are unclear and jump around, so putting code in the wrong places. Some of it is just complicated too.I think if you're a coder (i'm not), this could be a great book, as you can probably navigate the gaps in instruction. My son loved the idea of it too. We just kept having to stop, so I could go and figure out why things weren't working.I'm writing this review now as I've spent the last hour trying to make mission 4 work and I'm very frustrated.I hope the author goes back over this book again, because it's a brilliant idea.
