The perfect traditional advent calendar, the picture is very charming and it’s a nice size to hang up!

When putting up the decs this year hubby was reminiscing about advent calendars before the big chocolate mfrs took over and bombarded the market with kids cartoon character ones or just non festive images just to sell us more chocolate. Hubby is avoiding chocolate and I came across this pretty one on Amazon. The images are very nostalgic & festive and has glitter (but not blingy). The only negative (reason to knock off 1 star) was the cardboard was thinner than I expected and even though the packaging says not to bend..it did arrive somewhat bent in the post so it doesn't quite stand upright for us. This comes with a big envelope. I will probably get another scene next year.

Splendid scene, loads to look at and I notice something new every time I look at it, will keep and get it out year on year just love the scene. Great detail in each window opened. Highly recommend if you want a traditional advent calendar.

Great traditional advent calendar....loved the pictures...felt a bit pricey for cardboard but I will probably reuse next year...so then it's better value

The traditional festive scene depicted on this Advent calender reminds me of the childhood anticipation of both myself and my sister taking turns opening each door in the month leading up to Christmas day.A wonderful time now a long, but not forgotten, distant memory.
