Nice metal case, loads of ports, matches the MacBook nicely. Colour is for the darker MacBook however doesn’t bother me. Plugged in and just works. Highly recommended.

I bought this as a one-stop item to both lift my HP Spectre laptop and add all the ports I needed. There is two issues I have with the hub and thus forced me to return. First thing is the USB-c cable from the back of the hub is short for me as my spectre USB-c ports are placed on the left of the laptop and of course the hub would plug is correctly if these were on the right. The other main issue is the HDMI port, it only supports up to 29Khz refresh rate for my LG 4K screen which of course makes the application scaling unworkable for me as application scaling was all wrong and cannot make the refresh rate anywhere near the 49/50 Khz that I would need.

The variety of ports is great! The USB-C port for charging my laptop is fantastic. One of the USB 3.0 ports doesn’t support charging other devices. I have the 2017 MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar (A1706) and I received a notification every time I tried to plug in the Lightning cable into the right USB port that it was drawing too much power. The 3.5mm audio jack doesn’t work. It made a really horrible high pitched sound when I tested it out with Apple Earphones. The HDMI port works well and connects to a TV monitor seamlessly. I haven’t had a chance to try out the VGA, Ethernet or SD card ports yet.

This works after literally dozens of returns, I've finally got a docking station that does what it says it does. A shame there are so many on Amazon that just don't work.

Having a MacbookPro with only USB C ports - this hub is a great solution. It keeps the cables neatly tucked in behind and works just fine. I'm glad I made this purchase!

Can't really comment as I had to return it. I intended to use it to upgrade an older desktop to 4k video for basic PC work. I selected this as the cheapest device on the market and bought it together with a USB3.1 extender card. Didn't work at all! My fault. As I later found out, my desktop BIOS just doesn't support it. It probably works fine against a modern Laptop so please try it and let us know! It might also work with a more modern desktop but I can't say. Technical documentation was very sparse and did not explain the limitations. No phone or chat based support. I tried their email based technical support to resolve my questions but got no reply.

Flimsy and glitchy. However I’ve bough a ton of these things and they’re all like that. Probably a USB C issue but most machine I use these things with have issues. Sometimes it just won’t work, then it’s fine for 6 months. This is cheaper and more reliable than others but by no means perfect. Lots of options though so that’s nice.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto a causa della carenza di porte sul mio Dell Precision e per riuscire a collegare piu' schermi in parallelo al pc. Devo dire che sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. L'oggetto ha un ottimo touch and feel e sembra di ottima fattura, avendo tutte le caratteristiche per essere un oggetto durevole. La scocca e' in alluminio e chiaramente si scalda, tra l'altro come indicato dal venditore all'interno della descrizione dell'articolo, ma fino ad ora non ho avuto nessun problema a riguardo. In piu', dato che il mio computer ha le ventole sotto, il surriscaldamento e' ancora maggiore. Le dimensioni sono abbastanza contenute e la docking station sta tranquillamente in verticale all'interno di uno zaino. Senza parlare del fatto che e' molto comoda, dato che 1) E' invisibile, il computer viene appoggiato direttamente sopra la docking station fancedo risparmiare parecchio spazio sulla scrivania 2) Si riesce a mantenere un certo ordine sulla scrivania dato che tutti i fili sono ordinatamente collegati sul retro della docking station. La docking station e' alimentata solamente tramite USB-C che da un lato ne aumenta drasticamente la comodita' ma dall'altro c'e' un piccolo svantaggio (tra l'altro anche indicato all'interno della descrizione dal venditore). Infatti, collegando uno schermo tramite HDMI, l'ethernet, mouse e tastiera su USB, asggiungendo anche il cellulare in ricarica la docking non riesce a dare abbastanza corrente e il telefono si carica ad intermittenza.

Con un solo puerto tengo todo conectado al llegar a casa solo lo enchufo y listo me olvido de estar poniendo mas cosas.

Mein Kaufimpuls war: Prima, ein relativ günstiges Dock mit allen Anschlüssen, die man braucht. Dazu noch als Notebook-Erhöhung zu verwenden. Tatsächlich ist es so, dass dieses Dock mit seinem recht kurzen Kabel nur für Notebooks geeignet ist, die einen USB-C-Anschluss auf der linken Seite haben. Für einen Lenovo X1 Carbon passt es einigermaßen, für ein kleines HP Elitebook schon nicht mehr. (Das Kabel ist so starr, dass es das Dock bei leichten Notebooks verschieben kann, wenn der Rechner darauf steht.) Nächstes Manko: Die Videoauflösung ist mickrig. 2560 x 1440 Pixel (WQHD) erreicht dieses Dock nicht. Habe jetzt mit einem Anker Hub (ASIN B07PPGWQ15) nachgerüstet, der für weniger Geld mehr Power bringt und auf Reisen deutlich weniger Platz verbraucht.
