I was looking for a battery operated sprayer from a US company and landed on the PeteaTools HD4000 Pro series, a 4 gallon backpack model. Last weekend I used it for the first time to spray crabgrass preventer and the product worked like a champ. I like the variable speed dial, which allowed me to get the right amount of spray volume for the pace I was walking. Also contains multiple spray heads for different use cases. It appears well-made and a quality product. I also had some questions on my order, and Christina jumped on the chat very quickly and answered all my questions. Very helpful. She even reached out via email after I let my chat session expire. Great customer service !!

Sprayer works very well and reduced my time in treating my lawn by more than half. Much more efficient than hand pump sprayers. Build quality seems exceptional. Had a warranty registration question and Christina was very helpful in answering it.

Really feel deceived looking at the packaging. Looks like it’s an American company and one would believe it is an American made product however this is the very same product just with her own label on it as the Vevor backpack that’s available on Amazon or Temu for $110 if one were to place a Petratools sticker on that one it would look almost identical was only very minor differences like a different color hose the battery meter that shows how much battery life there is just subtle differences like that other than that these are the same backpacks. When filled this same ways, 50 pounds well not a problem for some once, it is on actually putting it on can be problematic. The pressure is strong in fact, too strong as it can’t be adjusted down below 40 pounds or so making precise low pressure sprays is impossible. call customer service two times with questions was told I would receive a call to address my concerns. It has been over a week and still no call. I packed it back up. It’s going back since I’m not going to wait until I get a call after the return deadline.

Awesome backpack sprayer. I purchased to manage my 1 acre property and support my general contracting business. Its easy to use and durable enough to pack out to job sites. Great for spraying any fertilizer, cleaners, treatments.

I highly recommend This backpack sprayer. It is very well made and comes with many accessories. Including mesurimg cup and strainer that stay housed in the two top lids. All the hoses and attachments are removable so it's very easy to clean. The pressure is very strong and this make large area coverage easy and fast. I have an acre yard and I was done inside 2 hours with spot treating many weeds. I will now be able to easily apply pre-emergent for upkeep.

This product is great! We have the 4000 and the 5000 sprayers for our landscape company! We usually spray about 80k sf and these sprayers are extremely effective and reliable. And they save time! 100% worth the money!
