Jim Stott's Street Magic Kit

He enjoys trying the different illusions included in the kit. Especially the ones with the thumb and the pen through dollar. The pen looks really realistic . What really impressed us were the additional materials that Jim Stott provided for us via e-mail. I would also like to note that I contacted him via this e-mail link to thank him for the additional materials and just correspond with him about my son's interest in magic and he was quick to respond and offer some of his expertise regarding that. My son recommends this kit for beginner and intermediate magicians.

The reviews looked promising, but the item itself was just okay for the money. The book gave very vague explanations such as "have a temporary tattoo of your force card placed in the inconspicuous place. Have a card selected and returned to the deck. Reveal your tattoo and the selected card." These kind of instructions are difficult to understand for beginners. A lot of the information you need to look up on his website or YouTube.Overall, the kit comes with a variety of trick ideas and some magical objects as stated, but unless you go on the website, it is quite difficult to understand the instructions.

Severely over priced. Box of instruction pamplets and internet links. Thumb provided is too small to hold anything, including my own thumb. Deck of cards and magnetic pen cheap quality. Save your money and look elsewhere.

bought it, never used it. most of the tricks suck.

We bought this kit for our son as a Christmas gift. He is 9 years old and has had a great time with it. The customer support and email 'extras' that we got were a lot of fun as well.

This is a good "old school" magic trick book. Like that Jim Stott also emails additional tricks. Printed them out for my son as an extra gift. He loved it!

for my grand daughter. OK, but not what I expected.
