Beautiful hat. High Quality
My friends in Texas all appear wearing this hat in photos they send me. Although I live in DC I decided to go ahead and buy one. The hat arrived and it is beautiful. I ordered my hat size but it was a little big; that was easily solved by adding a little paper into the internal hat band. I am super happy with my purchase.

The hat was what I expected. Shipped quickly!
The hat was exactly what I wanted and was double boxed with the Stetson box inside. The hat itself was in great condition. I am happy with this purchase!

Of course it looks good. It’s a Royal deluxe Stetson. Just buy yourself one you can’t go wrong.
I own two Royal Deluxe Stetson open road hats and a older 4x Open road hat that I purchased 10 or 12 years ago. Recently I ordered a natural colored open road and realized that I wanted a silver belly in the same quality even though I already had an 4x open road in that color. The 4X is now available and 6X I cannot tell the difference when I went to a store. They are a bit stiffer than the Royals Deluxe Versions. I needed to use some foam or cork spacers to make my 4X fit properly also I needed to steam the crown for proper fit. Not the case with the royal deluxe. The felt on the royal deluxe seems to be more premium although it to a 6X it is just not as stiff. The stiffer hat is probably better for an every day hat that might get exposed to moisture. If you carry plastic rain protector it will save your hat. Beaver for can handle a little bit of rain. Some people like that warn in look. My favorite Stetson hats are the open road style and the stratoliner. They are western style but also look very good in an urban environment. There is a reason why several US wore this style. It is also why many sheriffs departments wear A version of this style although possibly not made by Stetson. My grandfather or the style. He had Stetsons and Bailey copies of the open road. Akubry is an Australian brand that used to make the open road under license from Stetson. They still make a open crowned version of this hat that is extremely nice called a “Camp-draft”.
