The media could not be loaded.  I’m about to paint a large accent wall gold to go with my newly Weatherwood Reclamation reactive-stained maple cabinets, Aspect peel/stick metal tile backsplash, champagne brass hardware, stainless farmhouse sink, and mirror-scattered white quartz countertop, all purchased from Amazon (except for the cabinets and countertop). As I recapped in the video, I thought of the three gold colors (Champagne, Soft Gold, Gold Mine) in terms of Christmas ornaments:Champagne - very old ornament, gold has rubbed off to a silvery color.Soft Gold - newer ornament, but still old, antique gold.Gold Mine - new gold, what you’d expect if you’d melted down a gold bar.I’ll be ordering Champagne as it was most neutral and blended both stainless steel, various shades of brass, mirror, and driftwood grey.Contrary to the video, the 2oz trial size pots are around $7.00 vs $10.00! Hope this helps you finalize your fearless decision for a gold accent wall. We’ll post a pic of the results when done.

My wide painted her great aunts vintage vanity with this stuff. Primer went on first, but it looks beautiful and expensive now! We discovered Lowe’s carries the same stuff for less though - save some money and call your local Lowe’s first.

I primarily use the metallic paints as a glaze on furniture pieces I redo. I have, however, used it to paint a pieces. If you're new to painting with metallic paints, it's helpful to put a primer or chalk paint on the piece first. Then use a FOAM brush and basically BURNISH the paint into the primer and/or chalk paint. The key is to put on very LIGHT COATS and you will most likely need at least 3 coats and maybe 4. It will look horrible the first coat, but then continues to improve until you have a beautiful smooth metallic finish. You do need to work VERY FAST as this stuff drys extremely quickly. The fast drying is a plus in the sense that once you finish one or 2 sides of your project, you can immediately start with the next coats.

Love this! I opened it today immediately when it was delivered and got to work. I wanted this for a mosaic mirror in the bathroom of my house which had become stained with nothing to take the black mark out of the tiles. I purchased the glitter additive for paint on amazon as well so it would glisten. I purchased the silver metallic paint and did 3 coats on my huge mirror. I had just the right amount to finish the job. I was so disappointed when I opened it and it was so tiny but it is quite pigmented and a little goes a long way! I can’t say yet how this paint will hold up being in the bathroom. But I will update my review if I have any issues.

I needed a gold paint for the handles on my entertainment center but I didn't want a big bottle. I found this one to be a little pricey at $8 for only 2 oz. I thought I would only have just enough for the handles. After 3 coats on all 4, I had barely used any of the bottle! I decided to paint over a black Buddha statue I had lying around. Now, after 3 coats on that as well, I still have half a bottle left! Now I have to find something else to paint!You definitely will need at least two coats on whatever you're painting, because coverage on the first coat is not great. Unless you're going for a brushed, deliberately streaky look.To me it was definitely worth the money and the color is perfect!

I used this paint to stencil one wall in my guest room. The color is a dark silver with a metallic sheen. The color went on the wall really nicely and was quite pigmented. After painting the wall, I still have a good 3/4 of the can left, will have to come up with another project!

I loved the finished door color turn out. The main thing I loved about the paint was that it dried out quick even though it was cold. I was able to give it a second coat sooner than expected. I would definitely order more paint from this brand. The delivery was quick as it was ordered. You can see the before and after pictures.

We have found this paint to have excellent coverage, durability, and fast drying properties.We've actually used it for some highly visible gutter sections on the house. It transformed them into Copper gutters and the look real...not cheap. The paint when applied to a clean surface and allowed a day to cure is fantastic for maintaining adhesion and color. Our only complaint is the price. When available in box stores this sells from 29 to 35 for the 925ml jar. The Amazon price is too high and we only bought it because we were in immediate need.4 Stars instead of 5 for the Price gouge. Otherwise very good Buy.

Really good metallic accent . I got the gold mine and it is just like the name describes. It is not a bright yellow but a darker mustard color metallic. Really nice I ordered more. A little goes a long way, the tiny bottle will last me a while. But I'm only interested in accent/detail work nothing intensive. The clock's face trim was black and I did the bottom trim.

No. Just no! It’ll ruin your project!I’m a pretty experienced restorer/refurbisher and this was terrible. This ruins paint and stain jobs and leaves unsightly streak marks no matter what you use to apply it.It is very thick and a little goes a long way but it does not protect the paint jobs. So frustrating as I’ll probably be up strip and repainting the piece I was working on... ugh

I had changed all the door handles to brushed nickel but the hinges were still coloured brass, so I got this paint to coordinate the hinges with the handles. It was a perfect match and went on so easily. This small bottle was more than enough. Love this paint!

Rated based on price. The product is excellent, but I didn't notice the jar was only 2 ounces. Extremely expensive for such a small amount of paint. I could have paid 20 dollars more and got 1L from home depot. Will not be making that mistake again.
