IEW and Andrew Pudewa have the absolute best concept for teaching children how to write that exists. I love writing, and I'm so happy to see my son finally enjoying it as well because of this program. It's easy to follow and understand, it builds on itself, and it supports your child's own strengths, allowing for them to explore their creative side. I cannot say enough wonderful things about IEW and this book. Just buy it and follow the program yourself.

We do Classical Conversations in our homeschool community and this book is recommended for parents of Essentials. I am extremely pleased with it, because it is a great benefit for me as a parent because I was not taught to write a lot of my stories with added details or told to use more "dress ups" in my writing.This book comes in a binder and is absolutely a wonderful resource for not just myself but also for my daughter who is currently taking the classes. I find it extremely useful and just a great added bonus for all of us with the extra tips and the word lists, etc that you will find in here.I believe that this book is a MUST for anyone who is in Classical Conversations.

By far, the very best writing program. If used along with the Essentials of the English Language program, there are no gaps and can develop an outstanding writer.

I ordered part of this set (the student books) from their website and realized I forgot to order the parent videos! I didn't want to wait (or pay for) shipping again, so I ordered these through Amazon. Came next day and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching them and learning how to guide my children in their writing.

Writing made easy! I love the way every step is so simply laid out. I just started homeschooling my daughter and this has made teaching writing easy! She is making tremendous improvements in writing.

New, in box, and a fraction of the price. The material is great, our CC community has been diligently watching the DVDs. Great to have a set at home in case we don't make it.

This workbook sold as NEW which is incorrect! This is a used book. When I received it, it looked new UNTIL I tried to use the codes for IEW membership. I reached out to IEW who are amazing. IEW said those membership cards belong with the DVD and workbook combo. They don't know why it would come with workbook only. I can't get a refund because it is pass the 5 days of getting the workbook. I should have read the other reviews before ordering for thbooks4you.
