You can see its condition after slightly more than one year of regular use. On one side the blue surfacing is nearly gone and on both sides the contacts are corroded. Also, the plate has a deformity where the plastic mount was applying pressure. I had assumed it was time to replace the plate, but I had no idea it was in such bad condition. I’m happy the replacement is so inexpensive and easy to install. This plate will now be replaced every six months.
