Very nice.
Both long lines included. The black part is rolled nylon to allow free movement through surcingle rings or tied stirrups. The tan part is flat cotton webbing similar to a standard lunge line. Very soft in hand. The lines in general are flexible and soft. No rigidity. Does not have a loop or rubber stopper on the handler end of the lines, just a flat leather piece like an indicator that lets you know you've reached the end of the lines. I like that the snaps are not heavy and don't weight the cavesson or make the bit heavy in their mouth. The lightweight snaps combined with the free movement of the nylon really gives and helped encourage my gelding to stretch down and come onto the bit without sticky lines correcting him unintentionally. Overall fantastic set of lines. Recommend.

Durable
I bought these for use with my AQHA filly. She is still green so I do lots of ground driving with her. These are a great length and have held up very well. I have let a couple of friends borrow them and they like them too. You can get a good grip in case something goes awry and they aren't too wide. My trainer has been working with horses for over 30 years and said this has been the best pair of driving lines he has ever used...he even ordered himself a pair after trying mine. I would definitely suggest them.

Nice reins.
I used today for the first time along with a surcingle. My headstrong filly responded beautifully.

These are almost too lightweight for their purpose.
these are useful with a surcingle with large rings but would not recomend for useing without because they are not heavy enough to use with a saddle to release the pressure quick enough. These are very well made with ggod snaps. Just have too fold the excess wbbing and tape it or cut it off.

Good length, made well
I have a Percheron cross who I am doing refresher training for cart pulling. I am ground driving him before I hitch with harness. These lines are perfect for what I need.

Light weight webbing means tangles
The webbing is light weight. This means your loops tangle easy and the lines are not easily flipped over the horses back when reversing. I used to make our own but decided to be lazy this time because the webbing is not easy to find in the right thickness. Dumb move! Should have kept looking! Cut 5' off the webbing and now use them only for close work. Making another set for myself that actually do the job and no frustration.

excellent!!
Got these reins to help me train a young horse. Very lightweight but extremely durable. Horse got away from me and drug the reins about 500 ft. Reins still looked good as new and the horse, well, she is fine too. Thanks for such a great product and the best price I could find anywhere.
