My hubby searched quite a few places on the internet but these ended up being the perfect purchase. He needed something that fix exactly, were easy to install and they are study and durable. These were used on a gate to the chicken pen.

Very heavy duty gate hangers. Best to mount on a wall or wooden post. The U piece is a little narrow so best to fit to your gate before you mount! My old ones were starting to sag and my gate was starting to drag. This set is strong and sturdy! Hope they hold up to TX weather. A little expensive shove but not bad for quality hardware. I would buy again.

Work as intended with a solid build!

This is a pair of hinges for mounting a 1 3/8 inch pipe framed gate to a wall or wooden post. It is galvanized steel. The construction is fairly robust. It comes with lag bolts for mounting to wood. The welds look adequate. The only problem I see is that the pins don’t fit well into the holes for the hinge. You could pound it on but it would be very hard to open. I suggest prying it open enough so that it slides on easily. That part of the product makes it a little disappointing.

I made the mistake of getting the mail and female components from separate companies and sources before, realizing that there is not a standardization among the sizing here lol. So I've learned my lesson and got this set because it includes all the pieces for a two hinge door and the fence post or wall that it's going to be mounted to. So this is four components here. Two mail pieces that you screw into a 4x4 or side of a house or something like that, and two female pieces that attach to The bent pipe frame of a chain link gate. All the components are very easy to install and it's pretty self-explanatory. There is definitely a range of tolerance here with the types of components they can be attached to and the width of them. The metal of these is very strong and durable, but it can be bent outward if the fit is a little too tight for example. And similarly it can be bent inwards as well if the fit is a little too loose. This is definitely a heavy duty set that's similar feeling to chain link fencing pieces themselves with the galvanized steel I think it is. So they should last a very long time in normal outdoor weather conditions without any premature rusting or issues like that. I would suspect these would hold up a gate maybe 8 ft long or less, But any more than that and it may have too much pressure on it to open and close evenly without bending down, in which case you would just need a wheel at the end of the gate. I am going to use these on a 6-ft gate, and it will be fine for that, because I'm replacing nearly identical pieces. And I do have a big double wheel system on the bottom edge of the gate to keep the weight distributed evenly so it's not all on the hinges.

Got these for a fence & gate I am building. This hardware feels and looks strong. The screws are thick & fairly long….around 2.5 inches or so. The hole where the post goes through is tight. It looks like I’ll have to bend it open, or bang it w a mallet. Other than that they appear engineered well. I expect them to last. They were priced well and the sixteenth is good & rugged. They look good and are shiny. It appears they will be easy to install.
