So this basically prevents having to deal with any bubbles where the whole screen is tacky. But the strips do cause the cover to have an ever so slight area of space between the cover and screen next to them. Not terrible but sometimes noticeable if writing close to the edge (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). But the writing experience this gives mainly makes up for it. It feels more like true writing and quieter. Not the sharp tap tap tap of the screen alone.
