Very Good Sound for Little Money
Our used 2009 Subaru Forester did not have tweeters. The stock stereo has absolutely no highs or stereo separation without tweeters. The wiring is present in the blank-out covers on each door, and the OEM Subaru tweeter kit can be installed in about 10 minutes. Problem? The OEM tweeters don't sound very good and cost $75 to $90!The Boss TW12 tweeters looked like they would be small enough to work in the very limited space and at under $15, they were worth the gamble.The speakers come with nice mounting hardware for flush, surface and surface swivel mounting, a nice touch for such an inexpensive product. To mount them in my'09 Forester (09-13 are same)I chose the surface mount option. They don't look factory, but they fit right on top the little plastic blank-out pieces on the door corners. Drill a hole for the wires, two screws to mount, splice to the factory wires, put the blanks with the newly mounted tweeters back onto the doors and enjoy much improved sound! They are MUCH better than the more expensive factory units I had in my previous Subaru.

Good high end
These tweeters are pretty good. They give my system the high end it was missing. I spliced them into my door speakers because my stereo only has 4 speaker outputs. I had to mount them to my door panels. They were pretty easy to install but if I have to take off my door panels, I will need to take them out too.

Great tweeters for the price.
I was actually quite surprised with these tweeters I just installed them in my 2016 Mitsubishi outlander and the sound quality was actually pretty great even at high volumes. I would definitely recommend these tweeters. If you have stock speakers, it really makes the voices come alive. It is not mentioned in the ad, but it does have the base cut out pre-wired, which is great so you don’t blow the tweeters with too much bass.

Works great and they are loud
I added recoil capacitors to these and the sound is very impressive. Definitely adds the full spectrum of sound I wanted to my speaker build.
