30W 12V Triac Dimmable LED Driver AC to DC Low Voltage Transformer

These work exceptionally well as dimming LED drivers. I didn't notice any flickering when using with dimmable LEDs. When using non-compatible LEDs or LED strips, there was some flickering, but that is to be expected since they are not compatible. Easy to install. Took about 5 minutes to wire up. UL listed. I confirmed before purchasing. Small and compact, so easy to use in under cabinet or other tight locations. Great value for the money! 30W is perfect for my use case.

Their dimming range goes from 0-100%, smoothly and flicker-free dimming. It works with DC12 LED lighting strips, modules, light bars, puck, under cabinet and other LED accent lights. This dimmable LED driver features built-in protections for short circuits, overload, and excessive temperature, ensuring the safety of both the driver itself and your project. It is constructed with high-quality components, and the insulated housing is fireproof and dust-proof. With a power factor of >0.95, this driver provides a stable constant voltage of 12VDC output, with inputs of 100-277VAC, which extends the lifespan of your LED strip lights. Very easy to install. The seller offers a 5-year warranty. Recommended for LED lighting projects.

I put this 30W 12V Triac dimmable LED driver (TRIAC is the best Power Supply in my opinion) to work on a run of low voltage strip lighting and was impressed by how confidently it performed from the moment I wired it in. The constant voltage output delivered smooth, flicker free illumination that tracked perfectly with my dimmer adjustments, which told me the internal regulation was built with real precision in mind. Installation was straightforward thanks to clearly marked terminals and a compact form that fit neatly into a tight junction space without forcing awkward bends in the wiring. Once mounted, the housing felt solid and well built, giving me confidence in its long term durability even in a warm utility cavity. In daily use it has proven accurate in maintaining consistent brightness across the full load range, and the stable output has kept my LED strips running cool and evenly lit. For the price, the combination of reliable performance, clean dimming behavior, and easy integration makes it a strong value that feels like a professional grade upgrade without the premium markup.

I haven't had an opportunity to install this, I'll update this review when I do. That said, the PS is solid and seems very well built, and it's a great size to hide away in a cabinet, underneath a counter, or anywhere else you will want to tuck it out of the way. Do note that while it says it's suitable for damp locations, I'm not keen on leaving exposed 110 terminals. I'd only do that if I had a way to weatherproof the AC input terminals, maybe with a big glob of silicone or something similar.

This LED controller replaced a defective 12v LED driver/power supply which still had a working LED strip. The original controller burned out however my LED strip was still good. I simply removed the defective driver, stripped the wired ends and connected them to the new driver which functions well. The size is good for the wattage with no buzzing noise often emitting from cheap drivers. Overall the LED driver was easy to setup. Quality and value is good as it breathed new life into my LED strip which would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. This is also UL listed, a big plus over cheaper models without it. Another plus, this unit is dimmable for those requiring a dimmable driver.

I’m very impressed with this 30W 12V LED Driver. It’s well made, a comfortable medium size, and worked perfectly with my LED setup right out of the box. The dimmer compatibility is a great feature—I'm not using a dimmer yet, but it’s reassuring to know it’s ready for future upgrades. Installation was straightforward. The unit clearly marks input vs. output, and as long as you pay attention to connecting hot and neutral correctly, it’s very easy to work with. Once powered on, the LEDs light up almost instantly with no flicker at all, which is exactly what I wanted. The size is perfectly fine as long as you have the space for it. For tight installations—like hiding a driver inside a wall—you’d probably want to go with a smaller unit, but for general use this one works great. Overall, a dependable, high‑quality power supply that does exactly what it promises. Highly recommended.

This LED driver does work and it provides the amount of current as advertised. It also has a trip pot to adjust output voltage which I did not have to touch. No flicker in the LEDs which tells me it is properly regulated.

If you don’t watch their video or read the full product description like I did, you may not realize these following points since the very minimal instructions that come in the package has no mention of them: - The end caps come off to expose the connectors, as shown in the photos - There is an adjustment for the output voltage as shown in the photo The driver works very well, powering LED lighting with no flicker. Dimming is smooth, with no flicker in its entire range. I hooked it up to an existing Leviton dimmer and it worked with no issues. Excellent driver, recommended.

I do a lot of work with LED strips in my home and was pretty impressed by this driver. The good: - Size: The driver is quite compact given the wattage. Much cleaner that some of the metal housing bench supplies less sophisticated installers tend to use - Flexibility: I like that the controller can support dimmers both on the line end and the LED end for a potentiometer. This makes for a very flexible driver that should work in most situations - Enclosure: The enclosure feels robust and has a claimed UL cert, which is a nice touch. I'd feel pretty comfortable with this housing left out of sight as it's built quite nicely and has solid end caps The less good: - Manual: The instructions here aren't the most DIY-friendly given the dimmer connectivity on the LED side of the controller. In most cases, the dimmer is going to be wired on the line-end as illustrated in the product photos. Bottom line: This is a great dimmable driver for the price. It's super flexible and well built. Pretty easy to recommend.

I finally got around to installing this power supply and I am honestly so relieved at how easy the whole process turned out to be. I am usually a bit nervous about electrical projects because I hate the idea of wiring everything up only to find out the parts aren't compatible but the labels on this unit are incredibly clear. Having those specs right there in front of me gave me a huge boost of confidence while I was working. Once I hooked it up to my dimmer switch the performance was just awesome. I was half expecting that annoying buzzing sound you get with some cheaper drivers but this one is totally silent. It dims so smoothly down to a really low glow which is exactly what I wanted for the mood lighting in my room. I ordered this dimmable LED driver to power some under cabinet lighting I have. I’m outfitting my “new” old house in areas that need extra light. The overall quality is good. The thing I like most about it is that it’s very well constructed using a heavy duty plastic and that it looks like it’s gone through a quality control process of some sort as the sticker in my photo implies. I also like that it can be attached to pretty much any dimmer switch that’s available at the hardware store. Being able to match the switch to the other switches in my house is so much better than having to use a proprietary switch. I also like that it’s easy to wire up. It can be wired to a number of different lighting products too. I’m just using basic LED pucks. I haven’t discovered anything I don’t like or that’s “wow!” about this product. It will serve its purpose for me but I will edit this review if anything changes in these regards. Bottom line: It’s a fine product and I see no reason to avoid it.
