I'd been trying to remove a broken UPVC window handle to replace it with a new one, but one of the screw heads holding it in was badly rounded. I'd tried every different Phillips screwdriver in the house, and nothing would get a grip on it, and I probably made it worse in the process. Even a professional window repair man couldn't get the screw out.So I had low hopes for this product, but thought it worth a try. Amazingly it removed the screw in no time. The first bit I tried didn't work, but tried a larger one, and it came out straight away.I guess it can never be guaranteed to work, but for the price, it's definitely worth a try.

I was expecting this to be a bit of gimmick and not particularly good but I’m genuinely surprised. I had some stripped hex bolts on a Harley and thought they were staying there forever but nope, this bits worked perfectly. Don’t do what I did and assume you know and not read the instructions, I didn’t realise you have to bore the heads out running the drill in reverse, once I did that, worked perfectly. Very pleased.

Perfect set of screw extractors and its 100% an essential thats needed in your set.I was setting up some ikea furniture and unfortunately i ended up messing up the screw head as i was trying to screw it in. After attempting to extract the screw that was in half way through with a hammer and with the elastic band method nothing was working.I decided to buy the screw extractor after doing some research and to my surprise as soon as i found the best fitting extractor and put it into my drill it came out straight away.Super handy and its perfect it comes in a small case and will 100% be handy if you ever make a mistake like me. Could be slightly cheaper however regardless its worth buying

Didn't seem to work with some rusty screws that were stuck in some plywood that I was trying to remove.In fact, every screw I tried it with, it just got hot and started smoking when I tried to put pressure down on it like the video suggested.I had to stop using it and ended up just chiselling the wood around the screw to remove it from where it was being held down so these turned out to be rather useless for me.

I think this product is potetially good. It has not worked in the situation I bought it for. The screw I am trying to get out is inset and I don't think it is reaching it. It is a nice set and I am sure it will work given an easier access situation.

Bought this as we were removing decking in the garden. Lots of the screws were stripped and wouldn.t budge. Got every single one out thanks to this tool. Well worth the money.

It actually worked! Was very sceptical, but after watching a couple of YouTube videos, I followed those and out came the screw, really fast. It's a pretty high quality kit, with good range of bits to fit the chewed up screw head. Nice and sharp and hard to bite into the soft screen head.
