For the money this little box works great for my house, I was able to break the speakers down by different areas of the house. I think it was four seperate channels, idk but it was easy to setup and the sound seems good. Definently worth it if you need something cost effective.

It does the job

What is good is this does the job of working 4 pairs of stereo speakers. So, it is well suited for routing sound to different rooms in a house. What isn’t good: - the outputs are all mislabeled, so what is connected to channel is controlled by the switch for channel 4, and so on. Stupid. - The power switch doesn’t work so there’s no way to turn the amp off other than pulling the power cord. I fixed this by putting an Internet controlled switch on the power cord. But then when turned on, all channels are switched on. Stupid. - Contrary to what is claimed, there is NOT separate volume control for each channel. Again, stupid. - value of the amp is much reduced because it has no remote control. So, pressing the buttons on the amp is necessary instead of just pressing buttons on a remote control. Most stupid if all. But the work works, which I why I kept it instead of retuning it, as I should have.

I finally retired my old 7.1 surround receiver from the 90s and swapped it out for this Herdio 8-Channel Bluetooth 5.4 Amplifier. I can walk around with my phone and it stays connected much better than the older Bluetooth versions. It basically handles every source I still use, from my old CD player to my phone. Tuning Your Sound: It has dedicated Bass and Treble knobs, so I can dial in the sound depending on what speakers I’m running. It feels much more intuitive than digging through digital menus on my old 90s receiver. The Bottom Line: My Final Take Whether I’m building a custom center channel with a Herdio 5.25-inch woofer or running this 8-channel amplifier, I want my audio gear to be simple and effective. This amp is a winner—it’s powerful, versatile, and finally brought my home audio into the modern age. Just like the braided cables or the 90-degree latch on my shed, it’s a high-quality part that makes everything work better.

Happy with this little amp. I needed to run speakers into multiple rooms for a party at a friend's, so this was a great option for travel and setting up a multi zone setup. Bluetooth was also a requirement to connect to their phone, so this was a perfect solution. I did deduct a star, but only for the 'value' aspects which I can't fault too much for the price point. The first was more of an annoyance - there is a protective film on the screen that is actually underneath the knob components, so even carefully ripping it off leaves some behind the knobs. Minor, but stuff like that bugs me. The controls are digital, which is nice because you can see the settings clearly in the dark. However I wish there was more range, the eq settings are 0-5. I didn't drive my 30w speakers too hard, but the sound was adequate for two medium sized room zones. My final issue is that the provided connectors could be a little higher quality, but again that highlights the value segment here. I will say the screw down connectors are nice for this application since you wouldn't want speakers slipping out. I didn't have a chance to test mic input, but it is there. Overall this is a great little unit if you want to wire up multiple rooms to a single source, especially if you're looking for Bluetooth connectivity. It connected without an issue and was as high quality as can be expected from Bluetooth
