I don't cherish this green
I'm reviewing just for color accuracy -- Cherished Green. It is not a bright lime color as described/pictured. I'd call it more of a pale mint. I purchased bc Canadiana yarn is a new favorite & I like having a variety of colors on hand, but thought to warn other buyers it really isn't similar to what's expected. All other colors I've ordered have been accurate.

Closer to weight 3 yarn
I know weight 4 or medium yarn tends to be slightly varied but this yarn feels more along the weight of 3 or sport weight yarn. In the pick you can see the navy yarn side by side some other yarns. The orange is Impeccable brand weight 4 yarn and the right is Lion Brand cotton blend weight 3 yarn. You can clearly see the navy yarn is closer to the 3 sized yarn.Overall going to keep it as I am making a hat for someone coming to town in 3 days so it’s an emergency. First time making something with two different weight yarns but since they’re pretty close, it will hopefully work out.

Doesn't look like Canadiana of the past.
Yarn does NOT have the "fluff" it once had. I own oodles of Canadiana, so, when starting another project, ordered more of the 100% Acrylic yarn. Egads. It looked nothing like it used to. The new version is VERY shiny and lack fluffy qualities. Curious as to why, I did a background check of the company . . . learned it has been purchased by an international conglomerate who shut down their long-operating mills. Quality has suffered. We are left with a handful of corporations owning the majority of yarn manufacturers.

Cost too much.
I make winter caps which are given out at nursing homes. I though this skein of yarn was delivered by Prime but I ended paying more for deliverly than I did for the yarn.

Color not as Described
As stated in another review the "Cherished Green" is actually a shade of off-white. All of the other colors I ordered were very accurate to the pictures, but the Cherished Green is nothing like the picture. Please update the description to accurately reflect the product.

The color is true to the online photo and the yarn is beautiful
I love knitting with this acrylic yarn. It is soft, even and does not fray or pill. I haven't found a single knot in the four skeins I've used so far. The color is true to the online photo. This is definately an acrylic yarn to use for a blanket you want to last for years.

Works up beautifully and is very soft.
Making men's hats and just love the thickness and quality. The colors are vibrant. Machine washable--a must with my guys! :). Really like this yarn and would like to make some plan sweaters with it. Lots of rich colors, too.
