I purchased a fingerprint door lock from Amazon and the experience has been excellent from day one. Installation was easy, the fingerprint setup was quick and accurate, and daily use has been very reliable. I’ve been really impressed by how convenient it is not having to use keys, especially when I’m in a hurry or when guests arrive. The fingerprint recognition system responds quickly and consistently, with no issues so far. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I won’t hesitate to buy another one when I need to replace another lock, and I highly recommend it without any hesitation to anyone thinking about improving their home security and convenience

I purchased this product with high expectations, but it has been one of the worst purchases I have made for my home. The installation and setup process are extremely complicated. The instructions are unclear, and syncing the lock with the app is frustrating. To make matters worse, the large installation template does not work properly, making the installation even more difficult. Once installed, the problems continue: * The lock does not respond properly to settings or adjustments. * It unlocks but often fails to lock again, creating a serious security concern. * The auto-lock feature is inconsistent and unreliable. * On several occasions, the lock has simply stopped working without any explanation. * The fingerprint reader and the mobile app are unreliable and frequently malfunction. The most disappointing part is the technical support. After contacting customer service multiple times, they were unable to provide a real solution. They only walked me through troubleshooting steps that did not fix the issue, leaving me with a defective product and no effective assistance. Overall, this product has been a waste of time, money, and effort. I cannot recommend it to anyone, especially if you are looking for a reliable smart lock to protect your home. There are much better options available on the market.

I LOVE this deadbolt, but setting up users was a nightmare due to poor instructions which is why I deducted a star. I finally figured it out, but I almost returned it for a brand with thousands of positive reviews. Installing the lock itself is easy and straightforward if you've ever installed a lock or handle before. I did use a different handle because one I had before was heavier duty than the one provided with this deadbolt--I'll use this handle on another exterior door of my house. What I LOVE: --buttons you can feel and depress... unlike a smooth keypad which I've had before and didn't like --one-touch lock from inside or outside; other brands require you to press and hold a few seconds (this makes a difference when you're trying to leave the house!) --fingerprint reader horizontal; ergonomic and easier to use than a vertical reader --ability to add in LOTS of different fingerprints and codes so I added my three dominant fingers from each hand --it opens QUICKLY with the fingerprint; no hesitation --voice feedback during setup and usage What I don't love: --you must have at least 6 digits for a user code; I would have preferred 4 --when locked, the deadbolt turner is in the horizontal position; all the other locks in my house are vertical when locked so my muscle memory is thrown off --the wifi component is less than desirable; my router is only 10 feet away and it says my network is too weak and you can't use it for anything other than looking at your battery life; I've read that you need strong batteries for the wifi to work but if you've ever had these electronic locks you know batteries fade down quickly but not too quickly where it's not usable to get into your house; I use rechargeable batteries and charge about every two months--easy to do --set up instructions; since I couldn't set up the app to set up my users or anything else I used the big flow chart they included to use the keypad. This was the best reference and I'll include things I learned from the process below. Notes: --code must be 6 digits --you as Administrator are code 001; you do NOT enter 001 when creating a new admin password at first-time activation --as you create user codes or fingerprints you will get assigned a number to identify them (002, 003, 004...) I would write them down somewhere in case you ever need to delete them later --the flowchart says it's easier to add general users from the app but gives no manual instructions for the keypad; here is how: 1#, admin password#, 2, 1, new user code#, new user code# --adding fingerprints is the same as above but instead of adding a 6-digit code you place your finger on the pad and it will prompt you to keep lifting and placing again until it's done reading. Hope this helps someone. I DO love this lock!

This Fingerprint Door Lock with Handle is truly a beautiful addition to my house. Well made and sturdy, it’s a significant improvement over the big box store of my previous door set. I highly recommend with 5 stars.

Very difficult to program. I’m going to hopefully get customer service if not returning it.
