Works just a like a keyboard, put your cursor on the field you want to place barcode before scanning or exporting your data. Inventory setting works great. Minimal instructions, so you have to figure some things out yourself. Also if you are having trouble with the scanner not reading the 1st or last digit of the barcode, check the settings menu and change your barcode type. I think the scanner defaults to a European style barcode, may need to change settings. Go to Main menu item #6 Set-,#3 Barcode Set-, #3 Barcode Check (decode option 3). Make sure there is a star next to Enable (press 1 to move star from disable to enable). Works great as a warehouse barcode/inventory scanner.

We just installed the scanner and have only used it for 3 days. So far is works great for checking inventory in my customers stores.

I have only used it a few times since I got it but I plan on making it my inventory stand only product for everything from receiving to inventory cycle counts to inventory adjustments. only with my eMaint software. I think they work well together and could be very beneficial in the long run to help set up my locations and bins as well. Light weight and seems to be minimal but it has done much for such a simple product.

The media could not be loaded. Arrived earlier today was setting it up checked for updates, unit froze and its been stuck on this screen no buttons work and unit has been like this for last 3+ hours. Terrible dont waste your time and money.Returning it.

We plan to use this product to track customer parts through several painting production lines. The units will be reading QR codes to engage with a custom computer management system providing control for the operations. Our evaluations show that configuration and use is simple and reliable with multiple controls even including screen color and lighting level. The case is balanced and durable in the manufacturing environment.We will be buying additional units as the system changes roll out.Very impressive engineering and construction and attractively priced.

Replaced a couple of other scanners from this brand and finally got the right model. Customer service is good.This one has the same scan barcode results as our symbol scanners and works fine. Saved a lot of time in inventory count.

The good news is that this is a really inexpensive scanner. It looks like name brand scanners that cost 6-800 dollars, The bad news is that it adds a 0 to the front of UPC bar codes and drops the last digit (check digit). The website in the instructions doesn't exist. No address or phone number either. The manual supplied is for a different scanner and is poorly translated and doesn't explain a lot of the screens. Clearly a work in process and a reminder that one reason I use Amazon is because of their return policy. It is possible that this might work for your application but be sure to check it out first.

Initially, I had a problem with this scanner reading the last digit of a 12-digit barcode. I reached out to the seller and they told me how to change the settings to fix this issue. In case anyone else has this problem, I have attached the instructions.
