Bought this to send a HDMI signal from a HDMI switch (with multiple inputs) to a wall-mounted TV without the need for wires everywhere.The TV is in the same room as the HDMI switch so there are no walls for the signal to pass through and there's about 3 meters distance between transmitter and receiver.It took a few tries - but essentially worked straight out of the box - I didn't have to do any manual setup. Seems to work best if you put the RX in the TV, switch it on and then plug in the TX (with a HDMI signal going through) and switch that on. It automatically paired for me.The only issue I found was if you stand directly in front of it you will get some loss of signal - suppose this is to be expected though. Also, I haven't tried this with the RX being directly behind the TV - I have it poking out a little so there is nothing between the TX and RX.Seems OK for gaming too - played on Nintendo Switch and I couldn't discern any latency.Overall, this has worked a treat for my purposes.

I bought this so I can watch TV in the kitchen from the lounge box. There's 2 thin walls between the kitchen and the lounge and maybe 3.5 feet. I have tried pairing the transmitter and the receiver in any possible way, including holding them literally side by side, one in my laptop and on in the kitchen TV. It just doesn't work.the instructions, which I suspect were translated from chinese using Google translate, are relatively simple-ish. According to the manufacturer the 2 modules come paired....clearly thats not the case.

These are brilliant little units. We used them as an alternative to a Terradeck, at 7 time the price. Sure the range is lower, but we very rarely need to work so far apart.

Avoid this produce, it is falsely advertised. They claim a range and distance of 100 feet (30 meters) that the product cannot deliver. It couldn’t even do up to 10 feet without loosing signal. There are HDMI cables that can cover the range of this, which makes the wireless arrangement pointless. Firstly the angle has to be right and the sender and receiver have to be at close range not exceeding 10 feet for you to get a clear picture and sound.
