Did the trick
These iron on patches worked great for repairing holes in my jeans. They have held up throughout repeated washings. I extended the usefulness of several pairs of jeans, which all had tears above the knee area.

Thes patches are effective!
I was troubled with a tear in an expensive pair of athletic pants. I have tried other iron on patches before but they failed to stick effectively but since this is the simple solution I gave these a try. Applied per instructions to each side of the torn fabric and the hot iron melted in the patch . Each edge of the seems as secure to the initial torn fabric as one can expect. I did both sides and very happy with the patch. The final opinion will have to wait though until the pants have been machine washed a few times to see if any unrolling take pace. Meantime I am VERY happy with this product ease of use and quality of the patch on my garment.

Use it for any repair, but quite thick
I tripped at work and ripped a hole in pants where my knee is, so instead of stitching (which I don't know very well how to do) I used these patches and for the most part I'm very satisfied. I used an entire patch on the inside because it's black and my pants are gray and it would look incredibly tacky, but it's help up very well and the patch isn't coming off at all after a few days of application. However, the patch is quite thick and my pants are pretty thin so there's a hard part of my pants on the knee and it's kind of annoying and looks weird (see pictures). I probably could have cut the patch to not be so big and I have yet to wash these pants and I don't know if washing them will soften the patch and make it look more natural, but I will update this review if it softens after a wash. If you're using this patch on thin clothing like a t-shirt or thin pants, I would try to get something less sturdy unless you're okay with it.. But overall, very satisfied.

Prevent nipple chaffing
Great and easy to use. My first time using iron on anything. My intent was to make the back of the broidered patch smooth for my young son and avoid wearing an additional undershirt/tank on hot day to protect him from chaffing. Since this is his uniform I want to make it as comfortable as possible putting on the patch. PRO TIP* be sure to cut the extra white fabric around the embroidery bc the black sticky side will on stick to that and "flop" and no necessarily stick to the fabric. This picture it was precut but I found that out the hard way after doing one but I have 7 shirts and I worked fine the rest of the shirts and went on flush to the fabric using iron NO STEAM function. Directions are on package and easy to understand. Haven't washed yet so if it doesn't hold up I'll update.

Worked at first ... peeling off
I had a very expensive pair of exercise leggings. I fell and got a hole in the knee. I bought these to repair the hole, following all directions very carefully (for example, not washing or wearing for at least 24 hours). While it did work great at first, the corners of the patch began to pull away after only one gentle washing. I hung them to dry and did not put in the dryer. So far, the patch is holding with the corners pulled away. I chose to try to stitch it on to help keep it on,

5 stars after 15 months of use.
I repaired the failing crotch seams on 3 pairs of pants. I wear these daily for work in restaurants.bThe patches have held up incredibly through lots of use and dozens of washes. I was concerned about using high heat on the iron with the synthetic fabric, and it did cause a very slight change in appearance. Didn't matter because the patched area was out of sight. I'm applying more of these patches today because the original seams are continuing to fail. I'm very pleased; I had tried several other ways to sew or patch without success.

Works well for a quick fix!
I work as a server, and being someone with bigger thighs and running around on my feet all day, I can go through a pair of jeans far too quickly. I’ve tried mending before through simply sewing rips, however I decided to try these patches and they’re a big help :)The glue isn’t the strongest, however that may be more user error as with the cheaper iron I have I try not to use it on the absolute highest setting. For extra security, I stitch around the edges of the patch, however for more casual use I suspect it’d be unnecessary, I’m just cautious to avoid any more ripped-jean rug burns!Overall, useful product! Given the amount of work I’ve ended up putting in to secure the edges with hand stitching it’s not a 5 out of 5 for me, but again that’s more due to my circumstances of needing heavy duty mending.
