Nice addition to the core game
Wife got this for Christmas (I helped Santa pick it out), along with the core game.Family enjoys the game--my overly competitive daughter always claims I'm stealing her dice! It requires thought and planning as you play the game. It took a few games to get the feel for it (namely the terms used), but game play moves along at a good pace once you understand the rules. Each game doesn't last too long which is good. The expansion pack was a good addition to the core game. It was nice that the core game box was designed to allow the expansion pieces to fit without issue, including the dice tray that is part of the expansion. We've also taken to using the Expansion Personal Objective cards exclusively--we feel they are are easier to remember and play.

Would reccomend even if you don't plan on playing with more than 4
Don't be confused, although it adds the 5th and 6th player to the game there's more to the expansion with the personal draft pool and added cards. The draft pool shortens the game and add another level of strategy while the cards give more variability and replayability.I would reccomend it even if you are not planning on playing with more than 4 players.Integrates well with both other expansions.

aw
Sagrada is a great family game. The variety of objectives makes this game have great replay value. I like the expantion because it does allow up to six players. Keep in mind the more players the more playing time. The dice pool mechanic is nice but the original drafting is also a good concept. You can play either way which again makes more variety choices. For those who haven't tried it yet solo play is also very challenging. Everyone in my family loves playing this game. 1-6 players for a boardgame is awsome.

Great Game
This game is excellent - some luck, some strategy. Does not take forever to play. Easy to understand.

Great expansion.
This is a great expansion to include more players. I weekly play with a group that needs to accommodate size of 3-14 and this hits with over the regular 4-5.

adds unique game play with private dice pools!
We recently purchased the base game of Sagrada a few months ago and LOVE it. When I heard there was a 5-6 player expansion, I HAD to have it, as we are a 5 person family. (Granted, my youngest is 4, but I need to be prepared when she is older.)There are the player boards, extra dice, markers and favor tokens. 2 additional boards and 8 dice in each of the 5 colors. I didn’t count the favor tokens. Then there are the Private Dice Pools. Each person gets 2 of each color, rolls them and places them in their pool. In each round, a player chooses from the public pool AND the private pool. No more snaking around, you get to choose two dice back to back. Game play is much quicker, and down time isn’t quite so long. This is where play gets interesting… You KNOW your private dice. You are going to get to place them. You can begin planning out plays in advance. The trick is knowing WHEN to play those dice. Luckily, there are also…Two new Tools Cards. These tool cards are only for the private dice pools. Also, the tool cards from the base game can only be played with the public dice pool. (There are two tool cards from the base game you will take out when using the private dice pools). There are new Private Objective Cards. Instead of counting pips on a color, you count pips on the dice of a certain pattern. These make it a little harder to guess what other players objective is!There are also 6 new window cards. The only complaint I have about this expansion is the lack of variety of these window as they are either worth 3 or 6 favor tokens. Great for the kiddos, not so great for the rest of us who aren’t quite up to 6 favors but need a little more of a challenge then 3.Highly recommend this expansion if you enjoy the base game- even if you won’t play with more than 4 players. The private pools and objective cards are well worth it! It adds some unique game play which offers its own set of challenges.

Great addition to the base game
This expansion also includes some new cards and rules including a personal dice pool for players to use instead of the public pool. It's worth it for the additional features it adds, but the fact it includes Matt's for two more players is great too.

Should get this the extra cards
Not only does this add more dice for 5-6 players, it adds new private goals, public goals, as well as new tools. It also adds a private dice pool that only you can use throughout the game. There’s also a nice little dice tray that you can keep all the rolled dice in. It’s much easier to pass the tray from player to player, instead of sliding the dice across the table. Only downside about the tray is that it’s hard to see the dice if your across the table. I was able to fit all the content within the base game box, and tossed the expansion box.
