Tasting a lot like Christmas!
We've tried and enjoyed several of your recipes already. I find your book to be written well and thoughtfully...so when we decided to give another recipe a go last night I had pretty high expectations.I wasn't disappointed.Last night, for the first time since my Celiac diagnosis a decade ago, my kids and I made and decorated sugar cookies. Since all 3 of my loves are also Celiac, this is something that the younger two had never experienced with me. When it was over and we were eating ourselves sick on frosted snowmen and reindeer that tasted just like my memories i burst into happy tears (admittedly confusing the kids, ha ha) because normalcy is something eveyone takes for granted until it's gone.We also used the gingerbread recipe (baked lower and longer) to make our first from-scratch gingerbread house as a family...something I never thought I'd do and was SO MUCH FUN!My only complaint is the lack of an index on the Kindle version; it's very difficult to get to the individual recipes and I use the digital version of my recipes for shopping.Thank you for taking on this project and sharing your gift of recipe creation with us; our holidays are brighter for it!

Great recipes - horrible ebook
The recipes in this cookbook so far have been wonderful and I would gladly give the book itself 5 stars. I particularly LOVED the recipe for sesame chicken. I've made it multiple times and cannot believe how amazing it is! However, the ebook is not as great. On my Kindle, the formatting is all off - pages don't line up, ingredients are listed half on one page and half on the next. But the absolute worst part of the ebook is that there is no way for me to jump to a specific recipe. The Table of Contents only allows me to jump to a section heading. So if I want to make something I've seen before, I have to remember what it was called and search by name or just page through the entire book. If I want to see what foods are in the book, I have to flip through every single page. It is incredibly frustrating.

Buy this book, it is awesome
I absolutely adore Marie's writing style. Something about Marie's writing style encourages me to experiment with the recipes (gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant, vegetarians are... challenging), usually with success. Also the recipes in this book are amazing, "Toaster Pastries" anyone? If you are gluten free, buy this book, if you know/love someone who is gluten free, gift them with this book, if you like to bake and experiement, buy this book because seriously, home made pop-tarts, who doesn't love that?. I prefer hard copies for my cookbooks (nice to know I'm not going to have an expensive brick if I drop an egg onto it) so I can't comment on the e-book.

Yummy gluten free food :)
Love this book and it's recipes :) I've tried the Stroganoff and the toaster tarts and they were both lovely. The instructions are clear and easy to read and it's clear a lot of thought has gone in to it. I look forward to trying more and I highly recommend it. I would say to the publishers - for a thick paperback recipe book (1.5cm - 2cm) it's difficult to keep it open at the right page without breaking the spine. Maybe a spiral bound book the next time?
