end up a very good love story

I love science fiction. I not a romantic movie kind of girl, but this movie. Jeff bridges is so sweet and helpless, so handsome 😍. Karen Allen is great. It’s a story I can remember seeing when I was young and being equally as hypnotized by the characters and story then as I am now.

I love this movie, as I have history with it, my last name is Starman, as you can see in the photo, I sent a letter to Columbia studios when I seen the marquis at a theater before release. I have the actual marquis from Columbia Studios that was sent to me prior to film release, Columbia studios called me at my office and told me they would send a press release kit with photos and over 100 tickets to the movie and they did!. Blu-ray arrived very quickly and in great condition. Have on dvd and wanted an upgrade. Wide-screen, 115 minutes, English subtitles and some special features. Good cast, one of my favorite actors Jeff Bridges, well worth a watch.

Get the picture? This is a CLASSIC mid-80's effort that holds up today. The scifi aspects hold up because there isn't the typical over the top effects, which age poorly in later decades. Not dependent on the effects...dependent on the storyline and the acting, directing, and music.

Jeff Bridges is great as always. One of John Carpenters best. This is basically the same premise as ET the extra terrestrial. Kind-hearted alien needs help getting home. Special effects are kinda dated but good story.

A lovely and touching movie anchored by two incredible lead performances.Funny that Master of Horror John Carpenter's most underrated film turned out to be a sci-fi romantic drama.

For years I have been watching this movie on TV and the colors have faded badly over time which is a shame as it is in large measure a road trip through some of the best scenery in the USA. I am delighted that the original color is back in all its glory. This worth every penny. And I love the love story.

以前、テレビ放送で見たのをきっかけにまた見てみたいと思い色々なところで探していましたがなかなか見つからず格安でコチラの商品を手に入れることができて喜んでいましたが、届いた時にはスリーブケースがなく、パッケージを開けるとコーティングされていない為、表紙がプカプカ浮いてしまいます。また、字幕ありと記載してあったので日本語だと思い込み安心していましたが、英語で日本語の字幕は、ありませんでした、今後は、きちんと理解してから購入したいと思います。英語がわからない方は、購入を控える事をオススメします。

Still a thoroughly enjoyable sci-fi/romance movie!!!

Enjoyed the movie immensely. Even at 30 odd years old, never goes out of date. Great story, well done.
