very bright!
these are great out in the garden and even work inside a covered porch - medium to very bright and stay lit for hours - will be ordering more! The ones outside stay bright until dawn. The ones on the porch only light for a short time, but I think they are not getting enough direct sun for long enough to charge them, so I am going to try putting them in full sun to charge then back on the porch. So far very pleased with them.

Pretty
I bought these not to go into wine bottles but stars that I have for the garden. They work perfectly so far and are pretty bright.

Cool Idea!
I don't know yet how long these lights will last but I've been giving them out at as gifts this summer and everyone has really enjoyed them! It is such an easy gift idea. Just find a sunny window to put your bottle in. And its great that you don't have to turn them on and off. They will just light up on their own.

Versatile
Not only good for bottles but can use them in many other ways, light up small objects or plants. I love them and will be purchasing more!

Super Delicate Sensitive
Placed these in large Crown bottles. 3 or 4 out of the 6 I ordered are working when they get sunlight (not on a cloudy day). They are made from delicate wires and are super sensitive so one has to be gentle in putting them in the bottles. I haven't placed these outside so I don't know if they would stand up to inclement weather. One reviewer wrote about using plumbers tape to prevent moisture on inside. My man fiddled with one of mine and superglued it shut to prevent moisture. Nope. All the excessive fiddling on that one - opening and closing etc. - caused the wires to get damaged, in my opinion. May revisit this concept in a few months as summer approaches to see if its worth the money after researching other similar items that may be more sturdy. It is what it is.

Solar panel not sealed to base
1 of the 6 did not work at all, 4 of the 6 were not sealed properly (see photo) so they cannot be out in the rain because the water will go right into the inside and rust the connections. Unfortunately only 1 of the six both works and is sealed properly. I needed 2 to work for my project and after reading other reviews I thought I might be able to get 2 that worked. I didn’t expect them not to be sealed to protect them from the weather. I will be looking for another way to finish my project.

Maybe I got a bad batch...
Sat them in sun for two days before putting them in jars to make sure all of them worked. It was a win, until two minutes outside. They worked as I carreied them to my pathway. Remained lit for 2 ,minutes and then failed.Finding new seller. BUMMER.
