Heavy duty mounting hardware
"Resilia - Industrial Mounting Hardware For Strip Curtain Doors - 4 Foot Steel Strip (1 Bracket)" :: Excellent product for mounting vinyl curtain / strip door: Heavy duty steel frame. I mounted it above a 9' tall, 40" wide opening. I left it 48" long and had 4" overhang on each side of the opening. I hung this: "Strip Door Roll - 8" wide standard smooth - .08" thick x 150' common industry standard pvc". I was able to cover the 40" opening with 3 layers of overlapping stip door. The weight of the strip door is about 60 lbs. I believe this mounting hardware will easily support the weight of the strip door. Very happy with the product.

More than enough material to adapt.
Very thick and more than enough material. I wanted to make the door 10 feet tall so was able tout that length and up to 15 sections. Many options are shorter and wouldn't allow me to move large shelves in and out.I also spent the extra money for the dedicated mounting system which is structurally very strong.Not easy like a beaded curtain but allowed a very professional final product.

Durable and ridged
Very durable and ridged. Actually use them for commercial dog kennels. When they chew through the plastic flap they are very easy to replace.

Zoned off the family room / Kitchen area to leave the rest of the house un air conditioned.
It is definitely a sturdy steel rail. I had to run a 1 by 2 rail and a 1 by 6 to adapt the rail to ceiling mount and do some strange angle cutting to fit it around the crown molding ( that seemed like such a great idea a few years ago).I painted it white to fit the family room ceiling color but left the bolts chrome.I will try to update the review when the 90 degree days roll around.
