Great purchase
Very well made, we were quite sceptical about this purchase. It is nice and even, no gaps like our old down duvet. The reviews saying this is too warm & too heavy had me worried, we really do not believe either of them. It’s a nice temperature, in summer I can’t see it being any more of a problem than our summer down duvet. You can always just change the bed sheets to linen if you want it cooler. No regrets at all. Fast postage. Would buy another for sure.

Best nights sleep in a while!
Arrived very quickly; beautifully, sustainably and thoughtfully packaged. Such a cosy, soft and comfy duvet; slept soundly and felt secure and cuddled all night. I love the feel and comforting aroma of the wool filling.

Bliss
I have to admit at being hesitant when looking... The cost, well, it isn't cheap. I was looking at replacing the "down" duvet as it was starting to lose it integrity and feathers were constantly being shed from the cotton starting to age... Hmm, it's expensive said the Mrs, let's just wait a while..Well I waited and more feathers were poking me where they shouldn't be poking and I just thought sod it!A small British business using the best British materials, I'm in, sod the cost!I'm so glad I did. This is by far and away the best duvet I (we) have ever had. We did buy another "down" duvet and also had a cheap polyester filled one to use as a comparison as we were truly unsure if this wool filled variant would be all it's cracked up to be.I'll just say it. Buy it, don't mess about umming and ahhing...This is by far the most comfortable duvet ever. It just hugs where it needs to hug, those gaps between the Mrs and I were just softly filled, no great gaping chasm that polyester duvets do. It just wraps you in a sense of a mothers arms, no kidding. As I said. It's not cheap. What price do you put on a good nights sleep? In that respect, it is worth every penny.Update Feb 2024. As the winter months and lower temperatures normally mean adding blankets on top of the bed, we have no issue and no need to add anything to top up the duvet. We keep the heating to a minimum in the bedroom now. Yes it's chilly getting in but it soon warms up.This duvet has reduced our heating bills by simply being efficiently warm. The only issue we have now is getting out of bed....

Wool Duvets - the way the go...
Read various reviews and took the plunge... It’s nothing like a traditional down/feather - it’s thick and heavy but it still wraps round me like a duvet should. It’s warm - a little too warm for summer use maybe but on cooler nights it’s perfect. Difficult to assess it hypo-allergenicability (is that a word?) - seems less dusty & maybe sneezing less. Overall - I’m impressed and I won’t be returning to a down & feather Duvet anytime soon

Very good quality and helps with my allergy
I got allergic cough due to the down products like the duvet and pillow.A wool duvet is the perfect replacement for the down duvet. It worked immediately, I stopped coughing during the night and had a lovely sleep.I did some research before I purchased it. John Lewis had this OEM version which almost guaranteed that I cannot go wrong with this brand.I prefer Amazon for the ease of purchase and after sales. The duvet came with a small pouch of lavender, it smelled nice, a small touch but made me felt very happy.A small card with handwritten name said it was crafted by somebody in Devon.

Quality but at a price and depends how hot you get when you sleep
Well it's heavy and unlike the sales pitch it does get very hot under there no heat wicks awayWe got the spring autumn and that's very warm all in all for the price we are disappointed we cant use it all year round like the sales blurb suggestedBut the quality is there it's really well made and for winter for a couple sharing the bed it's lovely and warmI'd get a summer for spring autumn and a spring autumn for winter as they do get very cosy very fast so if you sleep hot like me it's to warm but my wife loves it shame it doesn't wick away excess heat like it's said

Can't fault it
I used this duvet for the first time last night and have had the best sleep ever. I didn't find it too heavy but lovely and warm. I look forward to getting a warm night's sleep throughout the coming winter. It is certainly high end hotel standard.
