Boost Breeze Nutritional Drink, Peach, 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 27)

Finally a nutritional drink in clear form. The Ensure line also now has a selection of clear beverages, but both my parents think the peach in this Boost brand is tastier.My father had to be put on a clear liquid diet for 3 weeks and needed a caloric and nutritional supplement. This, along with Ensure Enlive Apple (from this same vendor), was a lifesaver.Both products are tasty enough however, that they remain pantry staples even after his clear liquid diet requirement is over.Both my parents are in their 80's. Both drink juice daily anyway, so why not drink these nutritional juices and add more nutrition and calories into their diet.** My mom sometimes likes having this during the day. To change things up, she's come up with a few ideas:- mix it with strongly brewed tea to make peach iced tea- mix it with club soda, sprite or ginger ale(my dad likes the iced tea or club soda because it cuts the sweetness)

Good taste. Expensive though, as you need at least 2-3 a day to get real weight gain benefits. At appx $43. for a case of 27, this will only last a couple of weeks. Or about $100. a month to help the malnourished. But it works, especially for those with chewing or low weight/ appetite issues, and can be a lifesaver. Milk and soy congest my lungs now, so this is a great high cal "juice" drink where I can get more quality calories(250) and 9 grams of protein per serving. I just wish it were less expensive.This is a really good product and I recommend it. Just bought my third case.

I'm really grateful for these! I have gastroparesis (partially paralyzed stomach) and fairly frequently need a clear liquid diet. The only clear nutritional drink in stores is both red and not economical. I am allergic to red dye #40, so that is a major inconvenience. You also cannot have red drinks or food prior to some procedures.This is a GREAT find, being not red, a better price than other comparable items, and in a variety of flavors. It is quite sweet, but I imagine that is what gives it the calories. It also has more calories per serving than other clear supplements. If you can get past the sweetness, the peach flavor is good. I appreciate getting calories from something other than broth, which is quite difficult to live on. Or gelatin desserts. I will definitely buy this again!

I bought this for a friend of mine who's been in the hospital for a few extended times recently. He's lost a lot of weight and muscle since he was already skinny to start and hasn't been eating much in or out of the hospital. He is a seriously picky eater and doesn't like to try new things. He does like peaches, so I thought I'd give it a try as his doc wants us to put some energy into getting him to gain some weight and to get protein into him. He's sick of any kind of chicken and isn't supposed to eat red meat anymore.I had it delivered to his house and I got a call the same day. He likes it! Drinks the whole thing without complaining or being forced, which is a minor miracle. Talked to him again and he's even willing to try the other flavors. So I'm completely thrilled with this product. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that his wife thinks it's a bit high in sugar. However, she agreed that as a short term, not permanent, edition to his diet that it's a good idea. We're just trying to get him up back to normal, and under normal conditions, he doesn't need he supplement. But he really does right now and will for the next few months. I definitely recommend this product for peopld who need the calories and protein and who refuse the boost/ensure shakes they give you at the hospital.

The first time I had ever tried these was in the hospital. They aren’t meant for meal replacement at all but if you were one of those individuals who forgets to eat one of these and a silk milk protein shake will make you feel well enough to cook a meal. It’s just an extra bit of nutrients to get you feeling a little bit better. This is the best flavor I have ever encountered with nutrient drinks. Be advised that the levels of nutrients are deliberately increased so it is not meant for day-to-day consumption. You can just take a vitamin for that.

Terrific product. Resource Breeze was recommended for a family member who was having nutrition issues after many health problems, including cancer, by a hospital nutritionist. She loved the peach flavor (did not care for the orange and berry flavors as much) and I think it was a welcome change from the Boost and Ensure. The nutrition provided is impressive. I would recommend this product to anyone needing assistance with their nutritional intake or who needs help maintaining/gaining weight after illness. This is a very good supplemental drink, good test tolerable, but horribly expensive. If you consume one at day it won't even lastya month. I lostya lot of wait because I can't eat, and this helps a lot, but who can afford this for the long haul?Last time I paid $44 for 27. I spent already more than $200 andyi can't afford it no more.It's a shame that we found a natural product that helps with our health and they push the price up so notymanyypeople can afford it. It's infuriating an sad that because of that I will have to give it up. It's not right. What's in that gold that an 8 oz carton cost more than a 1$?
