Plastic Razor Scraper Blades (4 Pack)
J**N
Got the Clear Bra off my BMW
The Orange blades are the way to go for auto paint surfaces. Didn't leave a scratch and rigid enough to last a little while.Apparently, those clear bras don't come off, easily. With my fingers, I was getting a few small flakes at a time. I'm thankful this product came with a scraper tool, since it's not very easy to hold the blade with your fingers.Make no mistake, if your auto vinyl is being a nightmare, it's still a LOT of work, but these blades cut my work to about 3 hours vs. what would've otherwise taken me 3 weeks and 17 cases of beer.I probably went through 5 double-sided blades to remove the clear-bra. I have 95 blades remaining, which will sit in my tool box for an indefinite amount of time.

Great blades
These plastic razors are very handy. They can be used in any scraper that uses standard scraper blades.I bought these mostly for cleaning up automotive and small engine gaskets. These work well for scraping especially when the surface you are cleaning is delicate. These work great for removing stickers from windows and cars. These also work well for removing silicone in bathrooms and boats. These blades are strong, they hold an edge well but do not mar surfaces. I have only broken a few over the last few years of using them. These blades have two identical scraper edges, you flip it around after one side gets dull.

Just what I needed
Just what I wanted, a plain ol box with a bunch of plastic blades like the box I have of metal blades. I couldn't find them locally. I didn't want an impulse strip package selling me a handful of plastic scrapers as some type of specialty item for my car or whatever for $5.Of course they are plastic, and when you have a thin plastic edge it's going to get dull quickly. Use for intended purpose. These blades helped me peel those awful price stickers off a metal folding table fabulously without damaging the finish or leaving behind paper and adhesive. If you have to scrape something more rough off of a delicate surface like paint or plaster on finished wood you may or may not need multiple blades, at least they have two edges! They are molded well. I was concerned whether the blade edge might be uneven when purchasing, like have some type of oozed out of the mold bits on the blade edge. Nope, nice and even edges.

Orange vs Blue
I spent too long trying to figure out which color I needed. Now that I have used both - I can tell no difference. I'll be buying whichever is cheaper going forward. The both seem just as sharp and just as stiff as the other. If you haven't used plastic blades before... on hard jobs they don't hold up. I don't think they are intended to, and I am fine with that. Look how many you get for the money. They are great at scraping when you don't want to leave scratches. I have used them on Dicor and caulk. I can get things down to a small bit of residue then use mineral spirits or acetone to get off that bit.I look forward to using these to remove gaskets. I think they'll be perfect.

Bought for delidding purposes. Maybe a little overkill.
tl;dr Works well for scraping off the seal between the IHS and substrate. A lot of things can probably do the same thing, but this really works like a charm. So I bought these the scrape the (what I'm assuming is) silicon seal that glued the IHS to the substrate. It gets nearly all of it off, but alas you still need isopropyl and something a little more "scrubby." That only took one blade though. Now I just use 'em for general purpose things, like cleaning off gunk from electronic. Never damages or scratches what I'm working on! For my purposes, the blades don't dull that quickly, and I've gone through about 5 in a month.

patience required!
patience required because the plastic blades will wear quickly. This is necessary because they will not damage your work. In my case I used it to clean gasket material from an aluminum cylinder head. It did not scratch the surface. It takes a lot of effort and blades to remove a small amount of material. The good news is the cylinder head surface did not get damaged from all the scraping. You just need patience!

Works well to remove stuck on adhesive from delicate surfaces
The plastic blade works very well but only for a few times before it loses it straightness and doesn't scrape as well. The blades are inexpensive and are easily replaced so swapping every minute isn't a big issue. I used these for scraping off stuck on old tape from gel coat of a fiberglass boat and it didn't hurt the paint at all. I just purchased a package of replacement blades as this is a tool I plan to keep in my arsenal. Plan on numerous blade changes though!

Surprisingly sturdy
Surprisingly sturdy! I bought these to remove decals on my Jeep paint. This was exactly what I needed. I had four decals that were 7 years old off in under a minute. I sprayed on some adhesive remover and used these to continue removing residue and the razor stood up flawlessly even to chemical exposure.
