Ficus religiosa reaches 100 feet in height with a trunk diameter of up to 10 feet. The leaves are heart shaped, with a distinctive extended tip. The fruits are small figs, green ripening to purple. The leaves of this tree move continuously even when the air around is still and no perceptible wind is blowing, owing to the long leaf stalk and broad leaf structure. This species is an excellent choice for beginning bonsai.

They grew for me with no problem.
I planted three using a standard aero-garden and normal planting. In less than a few weeks I got three very nice little plants. It is going to be quite a while before they begin to look like trees but that is to be expected. I have enough left over to start a small forest. The picture was taken 12 days after planting.I recommend these seeds to anyone who would like to take a shot at planting from seed.
