POLYTE Microfiber Quick Dry Lint Free Bath Towel, 57 x 30 in, Pack of 4 (Blue)

I was very impressed with using microfiber towels as rags at work and decided to try them in the home.These larger towels have a taller and slightly less dense pile than the ones I use as rags. It is very soft against the skin. After a shower there is no doubt that your body is dryer after using microfiber then they would be after using cotton towels. There is a slightly different technique involved, hard to describe, more of a drag than a pat-down. Especially when drying hair, instead of scrubbing like with cotton, you just pull it across your hair. The hair becomes MUCH dryer than with cotton towels, blow-dry time is far shorter.When you then hang the towel on a rod, it becomes much dryer, much quicker than a cotton towel. The same towel can be used more times before washing. When removing the towel from the washing machine, it's lighter than a cotton towel, meaning more water has been released in the washer's spin cycle, and they spend less time in the dryer. They also store folded in a space about 40 percent smaller than cotton towels.I got three of the four-packs in 57*30 size. I had previously ordered a single towel from another manufacturer to try it out, and was very pleased to find this Polyte brand has a thicker pile than the other brand. It's still thinner than a deluxe cotton towel, but thicker than any other microfiber I have seen.Long-term durability is still a question mark. I tried stretching one by stepping on one end and pulling with both hands and all my strength with no ill effects.So I don't see any cons at all. Microfiber towels perform better than cotton in every respect that I can see.Except....Not sure if these are polyester, polyamide, or polypropylene, it's probably a combination.Plastics released into he environment break down over centuries. Where do they go? They break down into microscopic particles of plastic, and that's when they can enter the food chain. Nobody knows the true long-term effects of plastics in the environment. Make no mistake, this product releases particles of plastic that are already broken down to microscopic size into your home environment, where you will breath or ingest them. I am far enough on the downhill side of life to say "meh", but if I still had kids around here, maybe I'd think different.Then again, this effect has already been going on with all your poly-blend and other synthetics for seventy years. The only difference here is that the fiber is already broken down to microscopic size so that even plankton can consume them. It is said Americans consume about the weight of a credit card in plastics every month. You and I are living in an experiment.Lastly, If your local sewage treatment plant could put an outright ban microfibers, they would. They have a really tough time removing these from water as they tend to bind with other contaminants. They don't get it all and some goes to the river and the ocean soon after.

Best towels ever!! I ended buying two more packs. They are super long and go around my big butt and they are very light but sturdy and super absorbent like a squeegee. I was able to put eight towels in my wash all at once with no imbalance issues. I have had no static issues or anything trying to stick them like in some of the other comments. ( I do use liquid fabric softener though for that issue with all my clothes.) I have a large family so the lightness and thinness of them allows me to store more towels in the towel cabinet than a huge thick towel, but dries the same if not better than those plushy fat towels. Even softer! Another notable thing to point out is that I have no lint in my dryer catch after drying them. Which I am in hopes means the will not break down as fast as other towels. My husband and kids love them and have even started calling them the future towels because they are “high-tech cool!” In their words. My youngest even wants to use one as a blankie.

So, I have a love hate relationship with these towel. Let me start with the good. THEY ABSORB! these towels will literally have you dried off in seconds. The are very soft even after several washes and have held up with out any fraying. They are also large enough and long enough to wrap around you and walk out of the bathroom in. Here is my pet peeve, they stick to EVERYTHING. I know it's the type of material but let me tell you, when you go to fold these towels out of the dryer you are going to find all your underwear and socks stuck to them like velcro. And they are very staticky. But if you can live with that than these may very well turn out to be your favorite towels

I used these towels for an event. I loved the colors and they dried people very quickly after fully submerging into water. Great quality product!

THIS TOWEL SET WAS PRETTY EXPENSIVE AND THE COMMENTS THAT THIS WAS A VERY SOFT, VERY ABSORBENT TOWEL GOT MY INTEREST. IT WAS ALSO SUPPOSED TO DRY FAST. I THINK IT DOES DRY A LITTLE FASTER THAN MY EXISTING TOWELS, BUT IT IS NOT AS SOFT AS I EXPECTED IT TO BE. ALSO, IT DOES NOT MOVE ALONG MY SKIN VERY SMOOTHLY. IT DOES DRY, BUT I FEEL I NEED TO WORK AT DRYING MYSELF OFF. THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY NOT TO PUT ANY SOFTENER OR DRYER SHEETS WHEN LAUNDERING THESE TOWELS, SO I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS, BUT I AM DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO SPEND THE MONEY TO PURCHASE THESE AGAIN.

I had trepidation about buying/using these towels. I assumed they would be like other microfiber items I use for funiture and car polishing. They are thicker than other microfiber items, I have used, but still the same feel. Sometimes, if my fingers are very dry, they tend to snag, in the microfiber fabric, so I was afraid I would have the same experience, with these towels. And I have, but I still like the feel of the fabric. READ THE CARE AND USE INSTRUCTIONS- Do not wash these towels with any other fabrics, DO NOT use fabric softner, DO use wool dryer balls. One thing you may have to change about how you dry your skin, is to stop wiping and start patting dry. On my first use, I used these towels like a normal towel and attempted to wipe my skin dry. It was not pretty! However, on the second use and after reading and following the instructions, from the vendor, I patted my skin dry and I had a more pleasant experience. These towels are not for everyone. If you are looking for a standard cotton towel, you will not like these towels. However, if you are looking for a very soft, fast drying towel that is long lasting, inexpensive, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, (TO ME ) DOES NOT GIVE OFF ANY LINT - THIS IS THE TOWEL FOR YOU! The lack of lint was my most important criteria for new towels. I have bought other towels that claim to be lint free - they are not, but these are fully lint free!

I hate them. They feel like plastic and do not dry, even after multiple washings. I prefer my old cotton towels that dry GREAT. I can’t even think of anything I can use these for, except look at, because THEY DON’T DRY. They are going to Goodwill. All those five star ratings are a total mystery to me.

Las compré para una casa de descanso en la cual no tenemos tiempo ni lugar para mantenerlas colgando mucho tiempo, son ligeras y muy agradables al tacto, pero hay que entender que esta tela es para secar y no para frotar, el secado debe realizarse con pequeñas palmaditas o incluso solo colocándolo por encima de la piel absorberá toda el agua del cuerpo, se puede usar como cualquier toalla en el cabello ahí si resbala y se puede frotar.Si tiene manos ásperas sentirá que se queda pegada ya que las microfibras hacen el efecto de velcro.La recomendación es que nunca nunca nunca se lave con suavizante de telas, no se preocupe la suavidad nunca se perderá.Para secarlas, bastaba con quitarles completamente el agua acumulada que pudiera salir al exprimirla y dejarla colgando inclusive dentro de la casa, se seca muy rápido, si la dejas al sol incluso podría decir que se seca en minutos.

Las toallas son muy recomendable. Absorben muy bien y tienen un tacto muy suave. La volveré a comprar
