I live in the country on 4 acres and while that may not sound huge, it is a lot of room for my 8 yr old son to roam. This is great until I need him. These are PERFECT! No need to spend way more $ for something fancy. The sound quality is decent (still trying to get him to talk without touching it to his mouth!) and the range and battery life are great. He loves the blue camo too!

Purchased these for Christmas present for 5 year old- perfect gift!!! Decent quality, compact little device. Sound quality was clear, have not had a chance to test far distance yet but they worked well inside through the house. Even my older teenager was playing with it. Looking forward to utilizing outside in the yard and neighborhood.I purchased them on a daily deal and also had a coupon so I paid a discounted price, however I do feel like they are worth full retail due to quality of use so far.

I wanted to love these. They are small and cute. They work really well but they eat batteries faster than cookie monster eats cookies. I ended up giving them away.

Great product for kids! These radios are tiny but work great with my larger Motorola radios. My kids really enjoy how light and easy to use they are.They’ve got all the features you’d want in a two way radio. Privacy channels, squelch etc.The range is about as advertised. Good product.

My 4 year old figured out how to operate them. It worked intuitively when I needed to figure out to unlock a walkie that was locked on a particular channel (I didn’t have to reference the instructions to figure it out). They are much smaller than I expected as I only experienced walked in the 80s when they were giant monsters. I think we’ll test using these for practice purposes rather than just for play when we get a chance.

Complete junk. Out of the box it had no charge. I plugged the USB in and let it charge 48 hours. When I unplugged both of them, neither on had charged. It works when plugged into a USB but as soon as you unplug it, it dies. So disappointed. Save your money. These things have about a $2 value!

Great value, easy for kids to use, good range, overall good product. Only complaint (which I guess it's my own fault for not reading correctly) they're not rechargeable with USB plug. I was under the impression that they were. You NEED rechargeable batteries to operate walkos talkies. Sort of misleading.
