Timbuk2Super Strap Pad

I found a really great deal on Timbuk2’s messenger bags, so I got the bag not realizing it doesn’t have pads for the strap. It became uncomfortable when carrying heavy loads. So I found this Timbuk2 strap pad, it is great.There are other cheaper options out there, but I want brand uniformity. It fits perfectly on all my Timbuk2 messenger bags strap. It is very comfortable, I can now carry heavy loads for longer period of time while walking. It has some anti slip strips underneath so that it stays in place on your shoulder. The straps are perfectly long enough to cover the curbs on top of my chest all the way to back of shoulder blades. Overall, this strap is great not just for Timbuk2 bags.

The strap pad by Timbuk2 is well made, designed and sewn but is not long enough nor padded enough. Years ago Tinbuk2 offered a strap called “The Phoney Strap Pad” I wore mine out. It was thickly padded (about 1/2 inch compared to 1/4 inch on the current pad) and about fourteen and a half inches long (compared to twelve and a half in the current design) anyway what this means is that the current strap simply can’t handle a heavy (25lb Messenger Bag) without twisting as you put it on. Bring back the beefy straps Timbuk2 for your loyal customers who work hard and shoulder heavy loads during the course of a day.

Really, this is almost 5 stars, it was just a lot wider than I was thinking it would be for a shoulder strap. However, it SUPERBLY protects my shoulder from the weight of my Color Street Nail Strips inventory bag! And it is no slip, which I love! This item, and the others it came with, didn't come quite as promptly as I had hoped, but I'm really satisifed with them!

This is much more comfortable than the strap pad that came with my Timbuk2 messenger bag. It slides up and down the strap a bit between uses, but that's okay as I just adjust it to where I need to wear it. And that helps with switching arms. If I wanted I would add a bit of stitching to keep it in placeI love the reflective pieces so when I am walking in the dark I have more of a chance of being seen.

Makes sliding the pack around an easy thing without worrying about wearing a hole in my jacket.

I bought this for my husband because he bought a timbuk2 bag and it didn't come with the shoulder strap. Boy he complained, who fixed it? Me, helpful wife. He's a happy man now, i'll tell ya!

i use this strap cover on my nutsac disc golf bag and it feels great

A must for the Timbuk 2 bad. They should include one for the price of the bags. I have 2 if their bags which are very high quality.

Great. You godda work it in shape a bit by bending it back and forth. Loosen it up. This strap is the Bomb of straps. Has Reflective sides too ( substantial size )

最初すべり止めがついていないものを探したのですがいいサイズがなかったためこちらを選択。メッセンジャースタイルでショルダーを使い、頻繁に前に回したりするのですが、こちらの滑り止めは程よく動いてくれて使い勝手が良いです。ちょうどラインが入っているように見えるところがゴムですべり止めになっており、それ以外の部分は生地なので全面がすべり止め素材のものより滑りやすくなってます。かと言ってずり下がることの無いので偶然なのか？もしこれを計算して作ったものだとしたら最高に秀逸です。

厚手でしっかりした作りは良いのですがパット部分の滑り止めのゴムがなんでこんなに細いのか…これ使ってたらすぐはがれてピロンピロンになりそうだなぁと思ってたら本当にそうなりました。使用3ヶ月くらいですかね…この幅のパッドってあまり多くないので値段が少し上がっても滑り止め部分をもっとしっかり作って欲しかったですね…

クラッシックメッセンジャー M 116-4の純正パッドの上から巻きましたが硬くて…純正パッドを外そうとしてベルトとバックル相手に30分ほど格闘して見ましたが挫けましたいっそのことカッターなどで外すことも考えましたが勿体無いので見送りなんとも後味が悪い

これ自体は適度な摩擦で服にくっつくのでいいのですが、中に通したバッグのベルトとこのパッドが滑ってしまいます。その為、例えば自転車を漕いでる時にパッドの位置は変わらないのにバッグは滑って体の前に出てきてしまう事がありますので、ちょっと今一でした。ただバッグにあまり荷物を入れていない時は問題ありませんでした。
