Great tent
I really enjoy this tent, only had the cheaper tents until this one. You can ruin a great trip with a cheap tent! When the weather comes in all at once and your tent is blowing almost to ground and leaking. Awful is the word the trip suddenly turns into! But with this tent you just wait it out and enjoy the comfort from inside. I only go camping 3 to 7 times a yr, but don't like getting the trip wiped out because everything you have with you is wet. When the ran is coming down and the sounds are all around you from the drops! The kids love it and that's a good memory, Not having to cut it short because the sleeping bags are wet. If your looking for a tent and not a camper! You will be hard pressed to find a better one than this! Very easy to put up, But It's heavy so don't think your going to carry on your back a long ways. Flexbow Canvas tent is Great. Now for the details. The tent in the storage bag weights 30.4 lbs. The stakes in their separate storage bag weights 24.5 lbs. The overall weight of the tent is 55 lbs, for 6051 Basic model. Not to heavy of a tent to enjoy the luxury of a better canvas tent.

Perfect car camping tent!
I purchased this tent for weekend car camping, and extended stays at campgrounds, etc. Watched several online videos about set up, durability, etc. After reading the instructions, it took me about 15 minutes to set the tent up by myself. Very simple and straight forward. Hardest part of set up was determining best position for the door and fly. I recommend a ground cloth to help with any rain problems. It is listed as a 6 person tent, BUT that assumes 6 sleeping bags on the floor and no personal gear in the tent - look at the square footage, look at your gear (cot, backpack, totes for food and camp supplies, etc). Realistically it is a 2-3 person tent if those people are bringing clothes and gear. Tent height allows for easy movement and clothes changing, gear storage and stacking. Works great for what I needed.

Good tent, good seller.
The tent is great but the seller has great customer service and made sure I was taken care of.The tent arrived and I set it up. It’s bomber and the smell is fine. The smell is the same one old vinyl smell that comes from swimming pool plastic and it doesn’t bother me. The canvas is great, all the parts were there and set up was not quick but for the first time it wasn’t bad. Season it and let it dry or mold will develop. This tent is heavy!

Five Star Quality tent
This tent is absolutely amazing! Setting up this tent is a no-brainer and the quality and construction of it is impeccable. Granted this is not for The Backpacker if you're going to use this on a campsite you can't go wrong with this tent.
