YL108-4 Round Barn and Yard Light, 14-Inch

This light works as advertised. Good quality for its purpose. Easy to install if you have experience with wiring and lights. Sides of shade extend below a standard lightbulb that isolates light coverage to area to be lighted, which reduces unnecessary lighting that may intrude on neighbors or other areas.

For a fraction of the cost. Just built a new gambrel style garage with metal roof and siding. Wanted to replicate that old barn light look. This was the only affordable option. They went up easy and seem very well made. Can't yet vouch for durability, but they seem like the real thing. Recommend.

This had great reviews, so when I received the fixture, I was really disappointed! The straight rod sticking out from the house is really fat, like a pipe. And no matter what, it always looks a little bit crooked. A curved rod would have been much better. Search for 'dark sky' on Amazon and you will find loads of options for around the same price.

A great light for outside of the garage or shed. Very easy to install and can be painted with any good enamel. A great price and very reasonable. This light compares with the collectable barn lights that cost a lot more and is constructed as good as if not better than the collectable ones i looked at. I highly reccommend this light to anyone looking for an outside light fixture!

I have been looking for this type of light for a long time but was unwilling to pay the crazy prices asked...until I found these...I spray painted it black and it looks great hanging over the flag painted on the end of my garage! Great product!

This is a nice light weight, large reflector shade, dark sky light fixture. I've seen American made for 4 to 5 times the cost so I don't complain much about origin. Two issues that I had to deal with; (1)The mounting plate only had two of four mounting screw holes drilled and the supplied screws didn't fit the 10-24 screw holes in the weather tight (common) box that I used. (2)The boom conduit lock nuts probably won't hold up to a strong gust of wind even if you crank them really tight, so I added some pipe joint cement. I don't want to climb the ladder to straighten the light out after every strong breeze. Also, a non-issue, I hoped to find one in green. No such luck, so a can of Krylon in Hunter Green was used to spray on a happier look. Construction is good and I'm pretty sure I've got mother nature licked, so short of sulfuric acid rain storm or a tornado, this thing should hold up. I screwed in an Alzo 27 watt (100 watt equiv) CFL 5500 K and it lights a tremendous area without shining in the trees or my eyes. This is a very nice light fixture for the light pollution conscious. No regrets here.

Fantastic lights for the outside of our home. We purchased 5 & put flood LED bulbs in them and could not be happier with the look quality and value of these fixtures. I am a designer and my husband is an electrician so we are pretty picky and these met our standards especially for the price.
