Unreal!
I cannot believe the quality of this Gtr for under 500 bucks? I have around 10 high end gtrs in this house, from ESP to Fenders and others that cost far and away more than this Yahmmy, but after some minor set up tweaks and a string change to 10's, this gtr plays as well as any $4000.00 Gibson I ever laid owned or laid hands on, and the pickups sound better than the Gibson's I have had and played through the years. The only way Yamaha could make this model better, would be to carve a belly cut in the back, and a Strat style forearm bevel in front. Frets are all perfect, which totally blew my mind because I have yet to buy a Gtr that I didn't have to level at least 4 or 5 frets, if not the entire board. Fret ends are also outstanding, but I will be dressing a few of those here and there. Can we upgrade the hardware? Yeah, maybe, but I'm doubting it would make a huge change in tone. This Gtr has outstanding sustain, and the neck carve is easy to play. I generally play ESP gtrs for many yrs now, which have a distinct neck shape, which makes me not like many necks, but this one is great. I can't believe I never pulled the trigger on one of these sooner. I'm off to the music store to see about laying hands on the $1000.00 dollar version for comparison. Now I'm intrigued.

Nice quality, sounds great, great buy!
I love this guitar. Although it is the low end of the Revstar series it has a set neck and sounds way better than most other brands in the same price range. It stayed tuned really well. It's normally sold for $399 but this particular color is $100 less making it a great buy!

Excellent Instrument
An excellent instrument, well made, and technically well above average. It is easy to tune and has enough adjustments to truly make the spectrum of sound virtually infinite. It's made of quality materials and in the right hands it could give an excellent performance. The only criticism I would have is with the accompanying of the owners manual. It is too brief and covers too many models so that the reader becomes easily confused as to what instructions apply to the model guitar in question.

Great guitar
Fantastic for the money, quality guitar. Great craftsmanship, build quality and sound. If you're in the market for a Les Paul style guitar, the revstars are worth a look. Fantastic.

Very happy
Very happy with this guitar, I couldn't believe the action being so low, which everyone I have let try it out has been the first comment. After careful comparison of other guitars by Gibson and Fender's in the same price point, I am more than pleased with this purchase.
