It got the interest of the girls
I really like the concept of this craft kit. Unfortunately, the girls don't have the time to read instructions and open more than one craft and do none except leave a mess. When these cousins settle down, I will then sit down, read the instructions and start the project so they can get it completed and be able to say they made the hat. Nine, soon to be 10 and thirteen year olds have too many more things on their minds when they are together. It is a cute hat and both of them want the finished project, so it will get completed.

Didn't capture my kids attention
I've got a crafty kid and he usually flock to projects like this and then gives away the finished project as a gift. This one just annoyed him from the first knot to the last and then he go so frustrated with the stitching part he put it down and hasn't touched it since. Overall the quality is great for a $6 item but my kid didn't spend the time to finish it.

not worth it
This looked great in the box, and doing the craft/making the hat was fun... but the actual hat barely held up and didn't even look awesome freshly made. We wanted to love it way more than we did.

Fun to Make
This was a lot of fun for my daughter to make, a little craft you can pull off on a rainy day or when they are bored. The added benefit is they can also wear it, although the quality and looks isn't the best.
